HE IS A NINJA! (sort of a fan fic, I've actually never written or read one)
"Grandfather, tell me the story of Santa Clause", The small boy nestled under the covers looked up with gleaming eyes at his grandfather.
"okay, my child. it all began in the village hidden the leaves-"
"grandpa, this sounds like a cheesy way to promote a Japanese cartoon"
"don't interrupt, it's rude. Where was I? oh yes, it all started in the village hidden the leaves. the whole village was getting ready for Christmas, and nobody was more excited then Naruto"
"really grandpa?"
"BELIEVE IT!"
"..."
"...anyways, The hokage decided that squad seven would be in charge of decorating the village - so Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura got to work right away"
"is there any fighting in this story?"
"no, stop interrupting! So they got to work right away but, as expected, did a horrible job"
"grandpa, you can't just summarize the bulk of a story without adding any development or dialogue"
"interrupt one more time, and you get a thousand years of death"
"I'll be quite"
"good boy! so as the squad returned back to the hokage, they were revered for there wonderful job decorating the village and for the wonderful presents they left everyone! and as Naruto gazed up into the sky, he saw a shadowy figure leap away. the end"
"grandpa, none of that made any sense. When were the put in charge of presents? where's kakashi? How was a village of ninjas not able to spot a ninja decorating?"
"oh, my dear nephew. all fanfics are this bad"
