The tide needs the moon and so I need you here.
Wipe away each glistening tear, each sad voice I hear.
Let me look onto the reflection of your eyes
It is one within what I have found acutely in these last years.
Solemn silence echoes in my ears. Caress my face, pursue my fears.
Not wanting to look away from something so absolutely.
Let me peer, let me see, all that we could ever be.
Strings the more I strum, my fingers bleed.
But it’s all I can rely on now.
I slip from place to place and go from wall to wall
It can make them shatter, watch them fall.
Comfort is sorrow without my shelter.
