You’re hair hides your face, and I can’t see your expressions. But I can see what you’re feeling. And when you smile, that contradiction of your feelings, I can see the falicy behind it. You might not know I understand. The way you lie in silence, adding to your own injury. But I’m unremitting. I’ll make you spill. Not in silence will you lie. I’ll bring out of you things you didn’t know. Just show your self to me, because your face is hidden in your hair, and your feelings are hidden there. If you could only take me back again and make me yours like I’ve always been. Your few words can press against my heart yet they leave no shadow. Come show me the real you, and that smile will no longer be a loving contradiction.
