Chapter 4: Bodacity vs. Deidara
"WHAT THE-!?" Katie started before Lacey slapped her hand over Katie's mouth. But it didn't work. Immediately, Deidara looked up. "Who the hell are you?" he interrogated them. The girls remained silent for a few seconds. Then Angel whimpered, "...No one?" Deidara stared at them intently, as if seeing through them. "Who's you're sensei?" he asked. Katie dumbly answered, "Robert-sensei." "KATIE!!!!!!!" Her friends screeched. "Jackson Robert?" Deidara asked. "Yeah." Katie nodded just before recieving a whack in the head by Lacey. "Owch!" she whimpered, nursing her injury. "So you must be the Ninjas of Legend." Deidara smirked. "Wha?" Jill asked confusedly. "The Ninjas of Legend...six ninja warriors chosen by fate to defeat the Evil Overlord, Nara." Deidara explained. "Wasn't it Naraku?" Katie asked, tilting her head a little. "She normally does that to confuse her victims." Deidara said. While he was talking, Rachel noticed Tail and Rock Lee stir. Deidara stopped short when he heard Tail groan in pain. "What ha-?" Tail started and finished his own sentence with a scream of pain when Deidara brought his foot down on Tail's arm. "There's also a story that says they'd have three male companions...and I think I found two of them." Deidara smirked. He was about to bring his fist down to meet Tail's face when his face collided with someone's foot. Deidara staggered backwards, clutching his face. Glancing up, he found Jill standing in front of him, in a battle stance. "Oh? Is that the way you want it?" Deidara smirked, reaching into the pouch that hung from his belt. He quickly pulled out a handful of clay and shaped it into the form of a spider. The girls just eyed him confusedly.
With an evil smirk, Deidara tossed it at the girls and made a quick movement that Katie didn't catch. The spider exploded the moment it hit the ground, launching Tail and Rock Lee off to each side of the crater it created. "Holy frick!" Katie gasped. She noticed Deidara now forming a bird from clay. Knowing that it would come for her, Katie dashed out of the way. It was a good idea. When she moved, the bird landed where she was standing and exploded, leaving behind another crater. "Try and get close to him!" Ashley shouted, brandishing her tonfas. Meanwhile, Katie and Rachel knelt next to Tail and Rock Lee.
They were amazed at how good looking they were. Tail looked around 19 or so, with flaming red hair and light purple eyes that reflected the sun. He was dressed in a black tank top, orange...mini-shirt, you could say, white shorts over black capris and had a necklace tied around his neck. True to his name, he had a lion's tail and to match it, a pair of lion's ears. Rock Lee on the other hand, had a black bowl cut and what Katie would describe as "bug eyes." He was dressed in a dark jumpsuit and green leg warmers. Immediately, Katie and Rachel fell for these two. "Um...are you ok?" Rock Lee asked. "I'm yours." was Rachel's response. Tail looked at Rachel strangely while Rock Lee just laughed. Tail coughed and pushed himself up onto his feet. "That guy needs to be taught a lesson in manners." he sneered. "Whadda ya say, girls? Wanna join me?" "Whatever you say, darling." Katie told him in the same hypnotized tone of voice Rachel had. "...um...ok?" Tail said, eyeing her strangely.
Meanwhile, Deidara was finding it difficult to hit them anymore. The girls were jumping all over the place, dodging every attack. Eventually they got close enough to attack. Angel swung her bo staff, catching him in the back. Snarling, Deidara brandished a kunai and swiped at Jill, who backed up before he got him. "You apparantly don't get it, do ya buddy?" Lacey smirked. "Good beats evil. Evil gets its a** whooped. You're no different." Before Deidara could open his mouth, he felt a rope fall around him and tighten at his waist. He glanced in the ropes direction and saw Tail and Rock Lee holding the end of it. Before he knew it, Lacey hit him in the back with her hammer and knocked him on the ground. Then all six girls were on him, beating the sense out of him.
"Alright! Alright!" Deidara pleaded. "Please spare me!" Jill stared at him questioningly. "How do we know you won't come after us again?" Deidara didn't know how to answer that. "He could come with us." Katie suggested, lifting one hand. "Yeah, that's a good idea." Jill agreed. Soon all eight of them agreed to it. Deidara hung his head in shame. Who know what his clan would think of this. Suddenly he was yanked to his feet by Tail. "Well, we better get a move on." Tail said. As Rock Lee came back with the horse and wagon they were driving not to long ago, Katie tapped Lacey's shoulder. "Do you think we're actually these Ninjas of Legend?" she asked. Lacey shrugged, "Who knows?" The others climbed on the wagon. Katie stood by herself for a second. It didn't make sense. She and her friends just joined because it would've been fun to be a ninja. Since when did she and her friends become legends? "Katie!" Ashley called to her, snapping her out of her trance. "Come on!" "Comin'!" Katie shouted back, jumping on the wagon. For about five miles, Katie could've sworn that Deidara was glowering at them the whole time.
