Chapter 5
Six years have gone by since Andree went missing and was presumed dead, in that time Sai has left her home with the others not beliving that her childhood friend was dead. Her, Marluxia, Lyuna, Axel, Riku, Sora, and Demyx have formed a band. In the recent weeks they have heard rumors of Korgon and a unknow girl killing where ever they go. Though Sai doesn't want to believe it to be Andree she knows it must be. She fully came to believe it when she was finally able to see a picture of the girl that was with Korgon. It was indeed Andree though her hair was long and black, her eyes were silver and mean. And two large black wings sprouted from her back made her a terrorifying sight. And she no longer goes by the name Andree; she is now known as Xandra. It is presumed that she has lost her heart to the darkness and so Sai and the others look for not only Xandra but for her Heartless as well. Marluxia has also changed; he blames himself for not being able to save her that day. He doesn't talk to anyone anymore and when he does he is cold.
As it stands now everyone is scattered; Riku, Sai, Marluxia, and Axel are on Cloud's homeworld where reports of Korgon and Andree have been reported. Two unexecepted allies are also helping which are Genesis and Sephiroth. Right now everyone is meeting inside the old chruch that use to be Aerith's home. "I don't understand; if she's here then why haven't they made a move?"
Riku looked over at Axel like he was an idiot and repiled, "Granted that they never hestiated before but this time it's different."
"How?" Axel asked crossing his arms.
"It's because we're here,'' Sai answered quietly. "If I know Andree....Xandra like I use to then s being here poses a problem to her. She may have lost her heart but her instict to never harm her friends is still with her." She looked over at an ever silent Marluxia and sighed. "Korgon may have some control but she's not fully under his grasp."
"And your reasoning is?" Sephiroth asked as he crossed his own arms.
This time it was Marluxia who spoke as he said, "Because recent findings have shown that Xandra won't kill needlessly. Unlike Korgon she lets eldery and childern go free instead of wiping them out." He leaned agaisnt the wall and sighed as he added, "Plus she doesn't harm any plants or flowers that she comes across. One report indicated that she had attacked Korgon when he blew up several gardens. If she had come completely under his control she wouldn't care what happened."
"But that doesn't mean that she's not under his control," Genesis said thoughtly. "When granted a wonderful power it's hard not to let it suck you in." This made Sephiroth look over at him. "What? Surpaised that I'm noting quoting Loveless much these days?"
"She may be but even a dog will bite its' master if pushed too far," Sephiroth answered not replying to what Genesis asked.
Sai shrugged as she said, "Prehaps but it's all we have and we have to pray that's enough."
Axel stratched his head and looked over to Marluxia only to look away. Granted he had no real love for the man but to see him so down bothered even him. "Come on Marluxia; you, me, and Genesis can check out that old Shinra building place that Genesis told us about."
"What makes you think they'll be there?" He asked sourly.
"Call it a hunch. Come on Marluxia," Axel said. "If she's there then you have to come with us."
Sai nodded as she said, "Yes, go with them Marluxia. If anyone could talk some sense into her you could."
"Fine," Marluxia answered. He looked at Genesis and said, "Lead the way."
Genesis looked at Marluxia for a moment and then simply nodded and began to walk away. Marluxia followed without a word and Axel simply sighed and hugged Sai to Riku's displeasure. "Becareful Axel," Sai said.
Axel smiled as he pulled away so he could look down at the young girl and said, "We'll have her home soon.''
