There is a place thats full of life
I just need to close my eyes
I must sit in my special corner
And wait for a surprise
This place is full of wonder;
Nothing ever dies!
No one to steal anything away,
No one, hurts, or cheats, or lies!
The grass sighs happily
And the flowers bloom cheery.
The trees wave goodbye,
To the world thats dreary
The eyelids slowly open though,
To shatter my illusion.
I leave my special corner,
I stummble in confusion.
Where are the pretty moments?
When everything seems fine?
There never is a moment
When the world's devine.
I walk up to my dreary house,
Through my unhinged door.
I'd miss my perfect corner,
But I'll miss perfection more.
