...we should have never met.

If we hadn't met, you wouldn't be suffering so. You wouldn't have been so depressed for so long... Even when we were together, you told me afterward that even during those brief but precious moments, you were severely depressed. I can only believe that it was me who caused this depression...

I want you to meet someone that you can share happiness with. I want you to be able to move forward. I don't want to hold you back any longer with my selfishness.

You're being torn apart, and I hate that you're letting yourself break more and more. This pain... you can't handle it. You can't live your life while still holding on to what we used to have. Whenever you see me, all you can remember is what we used to have, and it pains you. You refuse to move on because you care so for me... If only you could forget.

We shared a special moment, but it was so late, you don't even remember. The selfish side of me wishes for you to remember... but I won't remind you. I'll begin to slowly drift away from you, so that you can find someone else to be with.

You've loved someone once, so I know you can love someone again. I know that, in time, you can allow yourself to fall in love again. I haven't given you painful memories of love, so... I want to believe that you can find someone.

I can't fall in love. If I do, it won't be for a long while... My experiences with love have been painful. I have a difficult time trusting others, so even if someone were kind enough to offer me their love, my stubbornness would trouble them to the point where they would leave me.

If I were to be cruel to you, so very cruel, could you never want to see me again? Perhaps this is selfish of me, but I want you to forget. If you do, then maybe you can finally be happy.
