"Oh well, I have an old guitar no one picked up from me that you can have. I'm not good at the guitar... at all." Simon laughed, and stood up before adding, "In case you are like me and have a lot of spare time."
Simon began to walk away when he heard her last comment, and froze. He lowered his head a bit. Simon too, was quite a great singer. In fact, his voice was what got him into music in the first place. When he was younger, his mother used to love hearing his singing. He would sing for her all the time. His singing came natural for him, while the saxophone and piano took him many years to learn and he had to aqquire that sort of talent.
But once the abuse started, he began to take up the saxophone, and he stopped using his voice for singing. Even though he was in a band that always wanted him to sing, Simon found it too troublesome to try and sing like back in the olden days.
But for some strange reason, Simon wasn't feeling as sad as he should've, in fact he was almost happy. Happy that he wasn't the only one whos talent was suppressed for some reason or the other.
Shaking his thoughts away, he continued into his spare room, pulled his saxophone case off of his desk, and grabbed the old dusty guitar case for Eve, in case she actually wanted it. But it was doubtful she'd take something from a complete stranger.
He walked back into the living room, and set the guitar case on the coffee table, and began to unzipper his own saxophone case.
But he stopped in the middle and looked towards Eve once more, "Hey, do you want to go and play the piano? Maybe you could a.. sing?" He looked towards Raize, "I think she would like to hear you sing!" He flashed the two a goofy grin and hoped that they didn't find him a hopeless lonely lunatic.
