A BIT MORE INDEPTH.
Life in Maldorf: Darius is always trying his hardest to continue living in this new and different world. He feels that it get harder and harder for him everyday.
But he is always willing to help out the sickly, and people fading into the darkness. But he feels more and more every day that he too, is slipping into the darkness.
He is not associated with any “party”. He lives in house 19. : )
Biography:
Darius was born on a planet called Granne Terra. Granne Terra, means Green Country in Latin, and the name literally is what the planet looks like. The planet had absolutely no deserts, but it was made up of rolling plains and hills, and one deep crystal clear ocean. Castles covered the landscape, and beautiful market squares and plazas were everywhere as well. Everyone was a magician, but there were two separate kinds on his planet, the dark magicians, and the light magicians, Darius and his family were light magicians.
Both of his parents were killed when he was very young, so he was raised under a mentor who adopted him.
When he was being trained under a mentor, he knew another apprentice by the name of Wayra (Hahaalawlz) who was his first friend, and he was also training to become a light magician. The two trained together for everything, and soon their relationship became more than just friendship.
He and Wayra would often times sneak down to the lake to sit and enjoy the day.
But the closer and closer the two became, Darius couldn’t help but notice that Wayra seemed to be slipping more and more into his own mind. He would question everything, and analyze everything. He began to realize that all people had darkness within them.
And that humans were only selfish beings and all they wanted in life was to satisfy their own desires, even if it meant hurting or killing the ones they loved.
This caused Wayra’s light magic to fail, and dark magic started to take over and control his body. Their master noticed this, and decided to discontinue his training in magics, because he was becoming too powerful.
But this didn’t stop the two from their secrets lake meetings. Even though Wayra was becoming darker and darker by the day, the two still loved each other. (Awwzsosweet. :3)
But soon Darius got news of Wayra wondering around Maldorf, killing people and torturing them, all the while laughing manically and muttering spells.
His teacher told him that Wayra had gone crazy, and that the dark magic had completely taken over his body. He also mentioned that he only had one weakness, and that he was Wayra’s only weakness. The teacher told him that the only way to free Wayra was to kill him.
But Darius disagreed to that, and Wayra’s killings continued. But their lake meeting’s also continued.
When Wayra finally killed his teacher, Darius decided that this was the end.
At one of their secret meetings, he gave Wayra one final kiss, before taking his life.
A few years afterward, his planet fell into a war. Dark magicians against light magicians. But this war caused the normally stable planet to fall into a deep unstablity, and instead of using his powers to fight in the war, he transported himself to Maldorf.
Darius became a magic instructor at the College, and even though he still uses Magic, it causes him deep pain a lot of the times. He now owns a pet donkey named Geoffrey, which he takes around with him everywhere he goes. Geoffrey was given to him by one of his students.
Recently Darius met this young bloke named Puck, and they became good friends. Although Puck doesn’t know much about Darius, he feels that things will become clear soon enough.
Power Forte: Magic, but the more he uses it, the more it takes over his body and controls him.(Even if he hates using, he is pretty good at it.)
Personality: On the outside he is an extremely kind, funny, happy-go-lucky type guy. He loves to tell jokes and laugh at the silly little things people do. He is always eager to help out, and always wears a smile. But this smile is only a façade. On the inside, Darius is slipping away from civilization, and the same thing that happened to his love Wayra, seems to be happening to himself. He is losing himself in himself. He fails at building close relationships with people, for fear of them dying, or them losing themselves in darkness. The only thing he is close with is his donkey, Geoffrey. He would lose it if it weren’t for him. But he is very kind on the inside, even though he is slipping away slowly. He feels that all people have a good side, even if their dark side is taking over. He has experienced this first hand.
He is very passionate about teaching students magic, and this often times when he is teaching, he is truly happy and truly kind.
Appearance: A tall handsome man, who is always wearing a large smile. Even though his smile is permanently plastered on his face, his eyes never fail to show his true emotion. His dark yellow-brown eyes are hidden behind a small pair of glasses because he can’t see three feet in front of his face.
His eyes are not the only yellow thing on himself. He also has long yellow hair that reaches down to his hip, and he likes to wear it in a ponytail many times, especially when he is teaching, because it helps him think.
He has a basic fashion sense. He always wears long fancy white robes with gold trimmings, and long socks and Chinese-style shoes. Although recently he is trying to conform a bit more and he wears jeans and shirts, and maybe some kind of tennis shoes. Darius is fluent in Latin, since that the native language of his home planet.
