The Next Day
“Okay, Kaoru, so do everything that I would do okay? If she gets cold then put your jacket around her, hold her hand, tell her how pretty she looks, tell her that your happy to be with her, comment her on her clothes, tuck loose hair behind her ear, say that the pretty girl across from you is no where near as pretty as her… even if it is not true, smile a lot, make sure she smiles… and for god sake don’t give it away that you aren’t me.” Hikaru was panicking, pacing back and forth across the room. Kaoru watched his brother from the couch. It was 5 o’ clock PM, and Kaoru was still just in his orange boxers, lounging around the house. Hikaru looked at him, and sighed. “Were you planning on taking my soon-to-be-approved girlfriend on a date in your boxers?” Hikaru asked him pointing it out. Kaoru looked down at himself, and shrugged. “No, I wasn’t planning on wearing boxers.” He said sarcastically. “Good, because I just ironed your leopard print thong for you.” Hikaru shot back at Kaoru. “Damn it, I was planning on wearing my tiger stripes.” Kaoru moaned, seriously. Then they both laughed.
“I’ll go get dressed.” Kaoru smiled and got up off the couch. “Wait a second. Kaoru, you’re wearing some of my clothes.” Hikaru told him, as he started to walk towards the staircase. Kaoru looked confused; he placed a hand on his hip. “Why?” He asked fallowing his brother. Hikaru looked at him and rubbed the back of his head. “So when she see’s me in the clothes it will remind her of ‘our’ first date.” Hikaru smiled at Kaoru, he smiled back. “I understand.” He replied and went upstairs to there bedroom, with Hikaru fallowing behind him. Once they got to the bedroom, which took a while for those of you who don’t know… there house is a mansion, Hikaru went threw their huge closet to pick out some of this clothes. He picked out a black short sylph shirt with a long white sylph undershirt and some jeans, a very simple outfit. He tossed it over to Kaoru, and grinned. “Buy her some flowers too, not roses… those are so generic for a first date.” Hikaru smiled at his brother, Hikaru’s eyes were filled with hope. Kaoru smiled at his brother, and then nodded. “I’ll get some daisies.” He said and started to put on the outfit his brother had given him. Hikaru left the room to go to the living room.
At the Suzumaki household, Yumi was getting ready. She wore a black denim skirt with a tight, blue, short sylph shirt and some black and white chequered flats. Right now she was straightening her midnight black hair. Some music played in her room; it was some Rock ’n’ Roll boy band. She sang along with the lyrics. “… With blood shot eyes, I watch you sleeping. The warmth I feel beside me is slowly fading…” Yumi sang softly. Sousuke then same into her room, he looked at her getting all dress up and smiled. “My little Yu-chan is growing up.” He said with a smile. She just rolled her eyes; once she finished straightening her hair she used a clip to place back her bangs. He then went behind her and put a necklace on around her neck, it was a silver heart shaped pendant, and the pendant was on a black ribbon. Yumi’s eyes grew wide; she softly touched the pendant with her fingers. “Sousuke… it’s beautiful.” She smiled at him. He smiled back. “Only for you, my little sis. This is my gift to you for growing up into such a wonderful young woman.” He smiled and kissed the back of her head. She smiled big and stood up. “So how do I look?” She asked him. He smirked. “So good, that I could put you on eBay for a bid starting at 1 billion yen and the prices would go up, and up.” Sousuke chuckled. Yumi gave him a hug. “Thanks.” She replied to her brother.
