I saw a little something these days. I don't want to brag but I noticed the date I satrted in Gaia and I want to flashback a bit. Yup, I'm going to tell you a tale how I found Gaia. 3nodding

The date was October 2007, my friends and I was starting to do a project on Science (or was it English?) Nevermind, lets just say we were going to start on our project when our friend, who is goodlilgirl0, wanted to show us something. She showed us a sight called Gaiaonline. We were a bit confused but my other friend, who is cute_k3na, tried it first. I got interested and also made my own, and as you know my username is Ahtak_spirit. So that day Gaia became one of our priorities and also at that day we got a bit of scolding for not doing our work. xd sweatdrop rolleyes

We didn't look at the tutorial, not even the rules!!! xp Were a bit experienced on these kind of things so I thought I don't want to look into it. Because you can actually tease me as a goody-too-shoes. I have no intention on hacking, harrasing and saying bad words. blaugh Maybe that had a bad effect also because it took me a while to understand the site. But learning in my own way gave me something to grin and pride on. Afterall, the wonders of knowledge never fail to amuse me. biggrin

We've met a lot of people and I don't know how others did it back then but they knew when there is someone new. They welcomed us all and that made me smile and appreciate the sight. smile

We've found out a few things like our classmate has been in Gaia a long long time ago. We looked like this. eek Hahaha. I miss those days. we even persuaded some of our classmates to join even today I have my eyes set on a target. MWAHAHAHAHA :ehem: xp Forget about that.

People come and go, even me. scream I disappeared for a while with my frustation of a slow internet connection but I came back. wink And I don't know what drove me to come back but I made even new friends and got hooked to Gaia again. Maybe its because I just got hooked on something new but let me tell you when I came back I had a surprsise. eek Gaia sure had changed a bit. And if anyone who was here 2 years ago I need help remembering what Gaia looked like. New ones, you'd be surprised.

I can't remember the look but I sure can tell its not the same. And I can tell you of an event about a vampire and human thing then there was the Halloween event and the orphan event. And I can also tell you that Zomg and pinball hasn't been there also. And the evolving items has only been around for a year or so. But I am way much older. surprised I remember an item contest and I remember cheering goodlilgirl0 as she compete in the Avatar Arena. BTW the only arenas at that time was the Avatars, Art and Houses? I'm not sure but the writing I am sure is an addition. cool

I remember being given gifts, which I thank them so much. I remember buying a butterfly because at home the internet is just to slow and it won't load the Towns. I remember chatting (and even fishing) with people from England, USA and Japan. I remember how popeular bragged about having a wild things. rolleyes I remember as the time goes by people go away and come. The hard part is the part where they say Bye and disappear. Mooo... I'm getting emotional. emo

2 months from now I will be 2 (Or wait is it 3?) years old in Gaia and boy does time fly. I've been introduced to new things, like RP!! (Thanks UnownX) And I don't know what my life will be like if these things didn't happen. It's just like the time I was staring at my choirs poster stating an audition 3 years ago and I tried and I met so many great people. I can't imagine my life without those kind of happenings and I thank you all!!! 4laugh
