I haven't been on since forever-- got so much homework to do! And I have been reading a lot too. You know, it never hurts to read... There are many good books out there that are NOT boring!!!!

Fly
As I sit here all alone
My nose in another book
I look up and out the window,
The breeze stirring my hair
Ruffling through my pages,
telling me silently to put it down,
As my heart soared with the wind
Feeling as if I could fly

Out the window without a care
Spreading my wings with experitise --
As if I knew all along how to fly,
How to soar like a bird
How to swoop down, almost touching the ground,
And joining with them in their sweet songs,
sharing the thrill of flying.

I would fly on forever,
over mountain and sea,
Just to escape; just to be free
The joy of being a bird,
Like a guardian of the sky and the earth below,
Oh, how I wish I could fly.
