"Sir! wake up!" calls from a grunt soldier who ran into the Barracks, chills in his voice. "muhh..guh" was only the reply in the Barracks quarters. "Carl sir! Captain get up! its an emergency! The General requests for us to meet him in the Control Room!" cried James Clinglot, the grunt who works for everyone, just for the fun and excitement, a real happy-trigger if you can say so. My eyes open up slowly, focusing in the lit room, getting up. Carl S.K. Krause..captain of the 1st Marine division of Quadrant Theta..yeah, Im not much but I try my best to help out the rest to see what the hell they want. I rub my back muscles and feel my shoulders as I look at James. "What for? another workout?" I chuckle as I rose up, my left ring glistening. James smiles back in return but murmurs "theres been talk of some kind of invasion on our planets surface sir..some kind of alien" "Alien? hehehe finally! now I don't need to face some b*****d communist!" I roar in laughter as the rest of the quarter stirs to life. My team, Gods Hammer, rises up, makes a quick salute, and soon split up, grabbing their gear. Rico, one fo my Heavyweights, stumbles a bit towards me. "Yo man, wats the news sir?" "Can't say much Rico, just the General wants us in" I couldnt help but sneer at the look of his face, all woozy and sleep-induced..kind of like my enterntainment. I look down at my ring...my ring from my wife, Amber...God I miss her, ever since the Dominion came in, every man has been pulled in this hell hole..I remembered the day she attacked one of them for trying to pull me in the dropships..hehehe..I can't wait to get back home...to Earth..to Heaven..after getting in my gleaming blue marine suit and pulled my powerful C-150 Gauss Rifle out, I walked on out to the hallway and down the door..
