Adara's, thoughts, stories and rambles.
Who is actually reading these?
You will not cut his string so young!
After the long and very much deserved rest Hades called the tall black haired green eyed male to him. "It is time child. The guy looked a bit sad and miffed as he was enjoying time with his friends, especially his girl. However he was a mere soul and that was a god talking to him. What could he do but say "fine."? He did snort defiantly at the god which made the Lord of the Underworld laugh as he loved the fire of his favorite worshiper's friends. "Be still, you will have her soon enough" he chuckled, holding up the orb for Cerberus. Taking it the massive puppy ran off to The Fates for his tapestry to be spun.

It took about 6 months for the puppy to return only to have another ready. A very grumpy black hair, blue-eyed male that threaten Hades, which made him roar in laughter. The dog ran off to another room and phased up at the front of The Fate's gate. However there was a huge gap where even the mightest of dogs to leap across. Patiently it got on a lift which had 3 stone statue horses waiting quietly slumbering. The two remaining heads of Cerberus barked, demanding across and the horses's eyes flickered on. Slowly at first, like an old man getting up from his rocker, they moved their heads, snorting out dust then the strong legs followed. The Steeds of Time, which was a futile gift from Cronus to change his fate*, finally lunged forward running hard towards the Island of Creation. Their hooves beating across the clouds of the sky, their voices cryed out in pain as the chain ran through their bodies guiding them to the other side.

With a jolting stop it sent Cerberus flying to the edge landing with a snort. Looking back the horses and charriot were not there. The chain was dusty as if never was dusted. He's done this millions of times but it still creeped out the deamon dog. Whimpering it ran in to see The Three Sisters of Fate. Whimpering with his head low he walked to Lachesis to pull the proper amount of thread out for the soul's life, whom she gave it to Cerberus. Running off to Klotho he dropped it at the willowy beauty who smiled and waved a hand over the dog which disappeared and reappeared at the underworld. She infused the thread and soul, shattering the orb which put it in a deep sleep. Setting up another loom for him she started weaving his tapestry of life. Putting it on autoweave she walked off to see the four's old tapestry that should be four beautiful pieces of art. However they were so tight that they actually forced themselves into one, even against her will. She just touched it lightly "I wish I had friends that I was that tight with."

She turned and saw her sister, Atropos, at the loom. "You will not cut his string so young! I decided that he will have a full life with his friends and you cannot take that away from me." Atropos smiled at her fiery sister "Dear one, I would never judge your work. I have never seen work more beautiful then yours. However, you must realize for near death calls I must sever some of your precious string, I just normally do it without you here as I do not want to upset you, so." she walked over and gently smoothed down her baby sister's hair. "Sweet one, you see you have an important job making sure everyone's line is perfect. Where they have no idea what their life's purpose is till they can step back and see your beautiful work, they must see the bumps and scruffs of life to fully appreciate what you have done." Hugging her newly reassured sister, Atropos turns and walkes out with a last, "Klothos, Remember, be good to these four, they had hardship in the last one. They had to deal with His mistake." Klotho waves her hands over the two tapestries that were being made to make sure they were an easier life for them.

Five years later the silvery white haired one was taken up there, however he was different. There was something, primal, about him. Something, raw, that made him more alert and awake to see the things around him. He was amazed at the scenery both the archetectual and plant life. The doors alone had such tiny detail no mortal, no matter how perfect the blacksmith was, could even dream of atempting. Such beautiful incrusting of gold vines that kings would kill their kingdoms for, the arch ways were detailed down to the 'morter' that held the pieces togeather. The floors were made of Marble, Limestone, gold, and obsidian. Everything glistened in the sun making it seem more and more like there was a layer of oil to hold a high gloss but even still, it didn't hurt his eyes.

The plants were also inspiring. Jetting out of the side of the cliffsides, the stone ground and vines twisting with the already breathtaking stuctures it seemed like 'man' and nature could co-exsist peacefully. As Cerberus walked around quietly plodding along giving the odd human a show. He could see the arbors standing sturdy in the ground not needing water, nor sun but still was as beautiful as if it was getting them. Towers made extreamly thin, but were standing perfectly as there were stone statues of one of The Fate sisters standing on one side thickening up the pillar, making it ungodly strong. Statues and fountains littered the different open rooms. "I see why now, dear sister, your so engrossed with your gods, titans, and Fates. They know such beauty as no mortal should ever see but always dream of. I've seen pretty, beautiful, and breathtaking, but nothing, no words could describe this. No poet, no songwriter, painter, or dreamer could even start to imagine such sights." He simply shut his eyes as he saw a forest coming into his sights. He knew that he if he saw it then it would have desasterous effects on him.

Once in with Klotho after Lachesis, the young man looked up at the immortal and smiled. She blinked down at him "Hm. I guess your deities are the primal ones. Hm. Or maybe your not a believer. In any case I do apologize this won't be pleasant...Such strange thing, you three are tied so tightly to her that you show up to our region." She was about to thread him then sat down holding him quietly. "Tell me, what is it like to have friends...." Turning to the tapesty. "What is it like to have friends that no matter how hard I try in each of your life times to weave you four seperate, you come as one." waving her hand she showed him all their tapestries, all of them the four are togeather in one beautiful harmony of weaving. The male was shocked. He was also so touched as all them he could think back to and now understand what was going on. He could look back and now make reason for all the crap they went through. "It is priceless..." was all he could say.

Standing and smiling softly "Cherish them. For I never will be like you four, and for that, you have the envy of something greater then then even time itself." She smiled and popped his bubble. Threading him he felt stretched, not painfully so, but as if he was having the greatest stretch of his life. He got to see the thread and how he was born, he got to see him being bathed then all the sudden he woke up and looked around. He didn't cry, he was about to say something till the doctor smacked his baby's a** and it woke his child self up and let the soul rest.

Five years after the male was sent off the female left for her new life. However while she was with Klotho something happend. The walls started shaking and dust started to fall. Klotho looked around scared for once in her long life. Looking quickly down she woke the girl. "Listen to me little one. As much as I would love to give you a peaceful life I don't know where I'm going to send you I don't know what will happen. Please forgive me and be ready to fight. The gods and goddesses will help guide you four in what you must do!" she put the girl in her thread but unfortunately the girl saw the great Klothos fall. Atropos and Lachesis came running in to see the soul half way in and their sister fallen. Lachesis snarled up her nose and bared her teeth. She was a force to be reckond with. Stabbing herself with her death shears they seeped into her body, disappearing, then a burst of light came from the old woman blinding most but her sister. When the light died down there was a tall athleticly tenatious woman with claws for hands. She smirked "Now play with me..." snarling up again wings ripped from her back as she flew in to fight against the entity. Atropos walked up to the soul that was being now tortured as it was stretching too much. "I am sorry I'm not my sister but I will try...forgive me." she started working with the sould and thread only for the soul to be thrown into a world without being born. Standing she..........
