xbox killers-rant about my family and game machines
the family xbox is screwed up and we had to send it in, it'll be gone for a week and a half so I'm letting them borrow my xbox and have it in the computer room. It is day one and my dad has already screwed up my FFxii game gonk I literally had tears in my eyes. Luckily it was disc one, I was trying to show dad the awesome graphics of the game so I showed him some of the intro-something he still didn't give a damn about- and then he decided to 'fix' the headset so he had to move the xbox and when he got done he just dropped the xbox down(it wasn't that high just like 2 fingure widths) and next thing I hear is an aweful scratching sound. After shouting "OH GOD!" and opening the tray immediatly I found that my brand new, love of my life, FFXIII disc 1 has a perfect ring of a scratch on it. It's horrible. I had to fight tears b/c dad's there. Number one, it's FFXIII, and number 2 its a brand new frickin xbox and xbox's are glitchy little boogers and now I have 11 more days to go with my xbox being in the xbox killers hands. My family has already gone through 4 xboxs. One was the red ring of death so not their fault, the other quit working and we sent it in to get back a refurbished one, had to buy the third b/c of the tray not reading the discs, and now we have to send the new one in to get a refurbished one because it's all glitchy again with reading discs. I am super nervous and praying that my baby will last the week and a half. I don't have a warentee, I should still have the year long warantee that you automatically get when buying the xbox but I'm still very uneasy now............and horribly depressed about my game. I did plan to play it again in the future...
