's**t, s**t, s**t...what the hell am I going to say...?'

The car ride home was stressful for Nikole. The whole time she thought about how to tell Amanda that she would be watching her ex boyfriend's kid for a whole week. Oh, and what will she do when Amanda notices the similarities between Phoenix and Nikole, how'll she take that...? Nikole sighed and just decided to let things play out, hoping for the best.

"Who?" Amanda had asked. Nikole sat down, she hated repeating herself.

"Phoenix."

Amanda paused.

"Whose kid is he?" Nikole hesitated but answered. She knew Amanda wouldn't like this.

"Cody's."

Silence.

"You're shitting me right...?"

"Does it look like I am?" Amanda walked up to where Nikole stood and leaned forward.

"Why the hell is Cody in Seattle?"

"His wife lived here, I ran into him a few years back." Amanda scoffed, not wanting to believe what she's hearing.

"Why can't she watch him?" 'Time to break the ice', Nikole thought.

"She's dead." Amanda let it slip by her.

"And he can't have someone else watch the kid?"

"No."

"Damnit Brittany, I don't want a little Cody copy running through here, god, for all I know he's a little s**t." A tug of pain ran through Nikole's body. 'Well, that hurt.'

"He's a good kid."

"Oh, so you've watched him before? ********."

"I would've thought you'd be more willing than this, considering you're the people person, not me."

"Look, I just don't want the little brat ******** around with s**t, because I swear if he-"

"Damnit Amanda, just trust me, he's a good kid, he'll listen to me." Amanda paused and looked Nikole over, sighing, she replied...

"That's a first...fine...but, if any games are pulled, I'll beat the s**t out of you and Cody, understand?"

"Clearly."
