I awoke,
startled and gasping for breath,
cold sweat ran down my neck,
i was shaking,
i wrap my arms around my body,
to stop the horrible trembling,
the image,
of what had just happened,
will forever be carved,
into my memory,
the screams,
will forever echo throughout the nights,
my hands,
will always be stained,
with invisible blood,
only seen by me,
my body still shakes,
i can't tell anyone,
of what i just witnessed,
they're all asleep,
my saviors,
will not save me today,
and today,
is the day,
that i need to be saved.
