    naмe: Hey! I'm Marley Heathervale.
[ Her full name is Marley Alkrain Heathervale. Alkrain was the surname of her ancestors, notably Castor Alkrain, a famous alchemist and a pioneer in the field of potion making. ]

nιcĸnaмeѕ: Literally everyone calls me Marley, but I've gotten Marles once before.

age: I turned sixteen in April.

    вιrтнday: April 3rd; Aries.

вιrтнplace: It often feels weird when you're not born in Britain, doesn't it? Almost everyone is, I suppose. I was born in Portugal while visiting my mum's sister. Anyways, I'm mostly British but I have Portuguese and little Greek in me.

вloodlιne: We're classified as Purebloods, even though we're technically not 'cause anyone with seven generations of Pureblood relatives is counted as one. I'm still part Muggle, no matter how small.

    gender: Female, duh.

aвoυт мexxxxxx

    ѕeхυal orιenтaтιon: Straight

paтronυѕ: A cheetah, reflection her love of running/freedom.

peт: I have a cat named Furball. My brother Spencer bought him for me when I was twelve. As soon as you look at him you can see why we named him that, plus the beast sheds over everything.

wand: 11 and a half inches, unicorn hair, walnut wood. Notably, there were two wands that chose Marley. The first was her ancestor's (made sometime in the 16th century) but her mother insisted that it would break and that it would probably screw up, so they went to purchase a new wand from Ollivander.

qυιddιтcн player? Damn right, I like to play beater, but I guess I have to be chaser this year.. chaser isn't bad, but I'd rather hit the balls than fly after them. I'm actually as good as chaser as I am with beater, just don't ask me to seek and I'll be fine. That thing is bloody difficult to see.

вrooмѕтιcĸ: A nice new Nimbus - it's my favorite thing in the world, ever! Spence bought it for me too for my 16th, thanks to his job at the ministry.

    lιĸeѕ:
    • I guess the romantic in me likes roses..
    • Muggle sports & Quidditch. I've always loved Muggle sports because it requires a lot of your own effort. My favorites are soccer and wrestling. Quidditch.. I've always loved to fly, and I'm really, really good at it.
    • Running. I love to run through fields of grass and feeling the wind on my face. I'm better at sprinting, but I'm not a bad endurance runner. Someday, I'd like to run a marathon even if it is for Muggles. I just don't know if I'll have time..
    • Spencer! He's the best brother in the whole world, and my others, Mitch and Simon are outshined. My brother has a heart of gold.
    • Halloween. I like scaring people and being scared, if that makes sense.
    • I love being in danger. It gives me a thrill. My detentions are usually well earned.
    • Jokes! How can anyone not like something funny?
    • Candy.. I have a terrible sweet tooth. <3
    • Summer, because I get to go to summer camp.
    • Boys. Sometimes they're nice and funny, and they're definitely a lot nicer than girls. Plus most of them aren't scared to get dirty. When it comes to love.. love isn't really my field, but I suppose a part of me.. never mind.

    dιѕlιĸeѕ:
  • Boring people. Do I have to explain?
  • Studying because half of this stuff I'm never going to need to know! And for god's sake, who would rather study than spend a night out?
  • I hate makeup. I need to get up earlier to put it on, so I rarely bother, and I also hate girls who are way to obsessed with themselves.
  • Writing letters because it's so damn slow!
  • Boys. They're often unnecessary stressors and sometimes ruin friendships.

ғear(ѕ): Now that I think about it, I've never liked small enclosed spaces, so I guess I'm claustrophobic. I know it's silly to be scared of something like this, but I'm scared that when I have to stop going to summer camp, I'll loose contact with Andrew.

ѕecreт: I think I'm in love with Andrew Logan, but the thing is, he's a Muggle. You know how I've been going to a Muggle summer camp since I was seven? That's where I met him. He's a year and seven months older and next year he's going to be a councillor. I met him on my second year since he was my friend Katie's older brother. I honestly think I do love him - or maybe love is a strong word. Anyways, I know I care for him a whole lot. We still exchange letters. When I'm at Hogwarts he sends them to my house and they get forwarded to me. I really, really hope no one reads them there. He's one of my dearest friends.

    perѕonalιтy:
    • Off course I'm brave. Bravery isn't not being scared, it's being to get over your fear.
    • I've always been fast. Fast at thinking, fast at reacting, and clever. I guess its why I'm in Ravenclaw.
    • Apparently I'm rather stubborn.. hmph.
    • I can be really lazy sometimes.
    • Sometimes I rush into things headlong - I'm very rash/bold. I like to take initiative and be a leader, and I treat most things with optimism.
    • I can be very mellow, but sometimes I have a terrible temper.
    • Friendly. I'm good with people and with making friends. I'm usually never alone, but if I am, I'm not one to gripe about it or stay alone.
    • Sometimes I can be very thoughtful and just plain quiet. The phrase 'when a girl is quiet, she has a million things racing through her head,' applies to me.

    вιograpнy:
I have three brothers, Spencer (20, he works in the Ministry of Magic), Simon (14, but he's in Durmstrang), and Mitch (18, he's somewhere in Malaysia). Spencer's the best. He was always the one who looked out for me, the only girl except for mum, who's sick with cancer right now. Spence basically put Mitch in his place when he picked on me. Sibling fights were uncommon. Simon's a little better than Mitch, but I've always been able to handle Simon. He and Mitch, they're best friends, while I've always been closest to Spence. He was my white knight. Mum and dad and I have a regular parent/daughter relationship. Nothing special.
Ever since I was young, we were taught to accept Muggles. The only difference between us is that we're the luckier ones to have magic, but that doesn't make them bad. When I was seven (my brothers went too) we went to a Muggle summer camp all the way in the states called Camp Ohanawin. I loved it. Even though I wasn't sure about what everything was and marveled at simple things, I made friends and did the usual camp stuff. My best friend there was Katie Logan. I'm still friends with her and her brother. Andrew and I became friends early on. The first things started happening between us when I was fourteen and he was sixteen. It just changed than, you know? Andrew was always hot, I guess, but that's when I noticed that a lot girls liked him. I wasn't like that with the guys. I was the sister type, but I guess Andrew never saw me in that way now that I think about it. It kind of kept going between the years. Next year, he would be a councillor and things would be different. Now don't get me wrong, I've had boyfriends before, but I've never felt strongly for them like I did with him. Anyways, after that, like every school year, we kept talking in letters.
At Hogwarts, I was sorted into Ravenclaw for my first year. The sorting hat took a long time debating whether or not I should be in Gryffindor, but it went with Ravenclaw. I wonder if it regrets its choice since I'm definitely not the average Ravenclaw? Maybe I've changed over the years, you know?

тнe eaѕy grade: I've always been an ace in Muggle Studies since I like Muggles and have lived among them - actually, I even did this program which had wizards live for two weeks in the Muggle world without magic. Anyways, I go to a Muggle summer camp in America, so I know these things. It's been a breeze for me. I suppose I'm good at Defense Against the Dark Arts since according to Spence, I've always been good at fighting and reacting on time. Not that I'd really say this to anyone but you, but I kind of actually like Herbology. I'm not amazing at it, but I pay attention in the classes and try my best.

тнe тoυgнιeѕ: I hate Magical History because it's just plain boring. I've never cared much about goblins or their rights and plus they're rather ugly and snide creatures. I was never good at Arithmancy and quit after a month of taking it. Sure, I had to catch up in the next subject I took, which was divination and much simpler, but it was worth it to get out of that number thing.
