His Legacy: Max's human life was spent on the streets. He did have a family, but he preferred the streets, where he would learn to truly value life. His life unfortunately did not value him. At just eighteen, he was killed in a drive-by. A choice was given to him; either he could accept his death, or become a demon who needed a contract with a human to stay alive. Wanting to live life to its fullest, he chose the latter and poised himself in a public area, where he hoped someone would see him and could make a contract with him. That was the day he met Erika.
Side Notes: While he comes off scary, he's surprisingly kind and loving toward Erika. He sees Mae and the twins as his older siblings.
