Nonny's Nonsensical Notes
My Journal. Usually just my usual Video Game Reviews and what not.
N.V.G.R #5 Nonny's top 10 DS games
Nonny has owned a DS since 2005 and has owned nearly 50 titles all of which were good enough for him but there are 10 games or series that stand above all others he played. and those are

10. Spectrobes
One of the earliest games I played and owned on the DS, Spectrobes was a nice way for me to wait for Pokemon to arrive. With the prehistoric Spectrobes and our brash and bold protagonist Rallen, the Krawl have no chance against him. Not bad for a Disney tittle.
Iku ze!

9.Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
For those of us who played Kingdom Hearts II there is a gray area about Roxas in Organization XIII. A big change up from the GBA Chain of Memories, This tittle stays similarly true to the PS2 roots. We play as the enigmatic Roxas as he discovers who he is and his life with the fiery Axel and the mysterious 14th member Xion.
"I'm me! Nobody Else!!"

8. Elite Beat Agents/Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!
With the revolutionary gameplay heavily reliant on the touch screen, this charismatic game of beats and rhythm with even quirkier characters as they dance and cheer their way to helping people out, what's not to love?
HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAALP!!!!

7. Advance Wars Dual Strike
This was the first DS game I ever owned and it is truly as step up from its predecessors. With all new units, new CO's, and a new threat, You'll be raking your brains with this still splendid military tactical RPG game.
Take out the Plates cuz you got served!

6. Jump Ultimate Stars
Though I will always be disappointed that this tittle never arrived in America, I still loved the premise of this Super Smash Bros. styled game. Never before could you have Allen Walker rake Uzumaki Naruto in the face with Crown Clown or have Kurosaki Ichigo send a Getsuga to Tsuna Sawada. I look forward to future sequels.
Power, Intelligence, and Smile

5 Professor Layton series
Put puzzles and mind teasers in a game give it a story line with a dashing top hat wearing Professor and a spunky young 9 year old apprentice and you get Professor Layton and Luke Triton. From their expedition to the Curious Village, to the encounter with a Diabolical Box, and a trip into the Unwound Future, this series is truly wonderful.
Every Puzzle has an answer

4. The World Ends With You
The geniuses behind of Kingdom Hearts dish out a game that truly exploits the capabilities of the DS's touch screen, dual screen, and mic, something that no other game for the DS could match. With a diverse cast of characters you'll fall in love with the main characters and even some of the villains
Zetta Slow!

3 Ace Attorney Series
For our defense attorneys, Spiky hair with our peppy female sidekicks, no case is impossible to get acquitted. Even our fellow prosecutor can't avoid a teenage girl sidekick. A game truly imbedded with twists and turns and the original trilogy tying up in the last case of many landmark events over the series time. Plus it's fun to do the classic finger point!!!
OBJECTION!!

2. Pokemon Black/White
Let's be real, I've always have been a big fan of Pokemon for as long as I can remember. Pokemon Black/White delivered nothing less than what I could have hoped for. Still as great and even better than where I began. The new pokemon features, and Dream World is what keeps the franchise going strong. Though it couldn't seize the top spot, Pokemon is always a great choice.
Pokemon! Get da ze!

1. 999: 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors
A truly well crafted game. It takes a lot of time and effort to create such a fantastically written game with plot twists enough to make M. Night Shyamalan give up. Though it is the latest game I've owned for the DS, it does not disappoint and can trump the feeling of playing Pokemon.
Is this the work of God or the Devil?
