i got my report card today, and, boy, am i happy! here are my grades:
social studies: A+
algebra: A+
science: A+
ILA: A
spanish: A+
p.e.: A-
health: A+
communications/speech: A
straight A's!!! i'm going to be on the principal's honor roll list again! (that's the highest ranking honor roll). so happy... got 5 A+'s. the only thing is that i got a A+ in all of my 5 major subjects (s.s, science, math, english, and spanish) except ILA (english). so this marking period i have to keep all my A+'s and get a A+ in ILA too.
my bff was not at school today. she was at home sick! crying she described her symptoms to me, and it sounds a lot like mine. i hope i didn't pass any kind of sickness on to her. especially just when i'm getting better! i was so lonely today, so so so so lonely.... sad
tomorrow is my parent/teacher conference at 6:00 pm. I wonder what my teacher's gonna say. they're supposingly going to talk about the GEPA (Grade Eight Proficiency Assesment -- New Jersey state test.) scores -- i wonder how well i did. i think i did well enough. not that great, but i think i did well.
so, because of state testing that the 6th and 7th grade are doing tomorrow, wednesday, and thursday, we all have early release on those days, which means we get to get out of school extra early, at 12:25pm!!! you can always get excited about early release days. they are the best -- they make me feel like i have all the time in the world...
also, next week is spring break!!!! can't wait. except for the fact that my dad is traveling starting this wednesday. he's coming back home for saturday and half of sunday and then is traveling again for spring break week. of course, it's for work that he's traveling so much for. my dad works way too much... i worry for him sometimes. so even if we wanted to go somewhere for spring break, we can't. because daddy is traveling. again. scream
