33 - Sunday Analysis III

Sunday Analysis 3: Well, not much has happened really.

I suppose there is one thing to touch on: We believe that Gaia has stopped stealing the ghosts from our tank (like the Grim Reaper) as soon as they die off. Some tanks that had their ghosts taken have retained some latest ghosts. Although, I suspect the 'bug' would happen again, and the new generation of ghosts will be killed.

Marketplace-wise, the Lawnshark hasn't recovered from it's inflation. It's slowly falling, however, from a peak of 65k (Average Buy Price [ABP]) reached last weekend. The ghostbusting hasn't really affected prices as much as first anticipated. The Irrawaddy Dolphin has suffered slight overnight inflation, but will fall back to under 110,000 Gold again. Stone Coatl prices remain higher than pre-Ghostbust, but at least have not continually risen in price. It's flying "cousin" (the Feathered Coatl) has always had strange rises and falls, and this time it's LBP (Lowest Buy Price) is almost 20k. A quick look on Airsharks suggest a fall-then-inflate on their ABP late last week.

Tank-wise, life goes on. All but Tank B earned profit, but that was down to inactivity from a previous event. My tank earn (weekly) rose by around 60,000 Gold.

Tank D will be phased out of next weeks table in favour of the new tanks.

UK Singles Chart analysis: Gotye and Kimbra remain at #1 with "Somebody That I Used to Know" for the fifth week (4th consecutive), tying it with Adele's "Someone Like You" for the second longest number one of the 2010s. A further week at #1 will result in a tie with Rihanna/Calvin Harris' "We Found Love" (6 weeks @ #1) for the longest number one of the 2010s. The song has sold over 450,000 units. Nicki Minaj rises to 2 with "Starships", Alexandra Burke entering at 3 with "Elephant" and Emeli Sande & Flo Rida filling the last spots of the top 5. Swedish House Mafia have another Top 20 hit with "Greyhound" (number 13), Jason Mraz has his first top 20 hit since "I'm Yours" [2009], and Dappy's falling-fast "Rockstar" slides another 12 [a total fall of 22 in 2 weeks] to #25.
Elsewhere numerous songs boost up a few places whilst 3 other songs suffer massive falls (Coldplay/will.i.am/Gym Class Heros) at #37-39.

The end.
