This is a Bosmer dossier on the faction of the High Elven Empire, the Wurdulak, rumored to be in use to the secretive sections of the Military to perform assassinations and wipeouts of resistance cells in the Bosmer, Werewolf and Dire Wolf Tribes, along with some Human cells though they rarely call for such extreme actions, not to mention the lack of accounts in the human communities.

Reports indicate the Wurdulak (Name recovered from a scrap of half-burnt paper left on a corpse rumored to have burst into flames upon death.) are all Werewolves, though it is hard to say, considering they typically remain in human form until the moment they attack, if they even change at all, some accounts have indicated they were attacked by humans with "beast-like strength and agility", some have assumed them to simply be powerful, human slaves to the elves. Every single account has indicated the Wurdulak use Katanas as their main weapons, even as beasts they have been seen to use the swords and remain in armor. They have been known to attack in public but a majority of the incidents were recorded after the fact, based on witness reports and mortician analysis, indicating the victims were rarely aware of their attackers until it was too late. On the occasions the victims were aware of their attackers or the Wurdulak openly attacked someone, they would kill their target, then themselves in an apparent attempt to keep whoever their puppet masters were, secret.

All indications of the Wurdulak's sizes have suggested they are, indeed werewolves, having the ability to change from human to a vicious, hulking monster resembling a wolf, not to be confused with the normally friendly Dire Wolves. When in human form, unlike normal werewolves, they will almost always carry their weapon as well as wear a powerful form of armor that changes shape when they do, making it hard to tell them from a normal wanderer or mercenary. The only thing the Bosmer scouts and accounts can confirm are the Katanas the Wurdulak use, as it is a rare weapon even for the elves, some have speculated they use the weapons because of the relationship Katana smithing has to the moon, being directly related to Azura, it also rumored it, along with the Gift of Speech to wolves, was given to man in the early days of Arcea.
