Well....
I don't like the way people, well, some, seem to think that by being of superior intellect and speaking likewise, a person is being arrogant or snobbish. (I am NOT talking about myself. We were discussing Flowers for Algernon.)
Now, I say, what is more natural then speaking at your own level? Erm... speech-wise, that is. It is not snobbish....
And I think... I think one of the things that drives people to aggravate me is the fact that I read. Ugh...! As if I'm inferior for understanding and enjoying the written word! Some of these people can hardly read!!!
