K-drama fan problems: SLS or Second Lead Syndrome.
The undeniable urge for the second male lead to get the girl, often ending in heartbreak. emotion_bigheart emotion_bandaid

This is one of many K-drama fan problems, but probably the most widely known and felt is the heartbreak of wanting the main female lead with the almost always adorable second male lead. This does not often occur, in fact I have yet to see it happen myself, and oh how I have wanted it!
The second male lead has a tendency to be a complete sweetheart well the main male is being a jerk. You know what they say, the good guy never wins.
Most of the time (thankfully) the male lead ends up turning into a somewhat stand up guy so he can be with the woman he loves (our main female lead), so we end up with a love-changes-all story line.
This is all nice and dandy but I want to see the nice guy get the girl!! First of all nice guys win, they don't ALWAYS lose. I like nice-guys, yes bad-boys have a certain appeal, even to me ( sweatdrop ), there's no doubt that it can be hard to deny the sexy appeal of great hair, a brooding attitude and a motorbike/sports car (its just human nature), but good-guys can be just as appealing! (Especially If you want them to be wink )
Well K-drama does a good job making them appealing, they just also do a good job of braking your heart in the process. Having the main female fall for the jerk across the room emotion_facepalm well she's getting all this adoring love from the guy right next to her!
It's a vicious cycle, for me especially, because I can be suffering a severe case of SLS well also rooting for the main lead! Now if that's not a boat-load of conflicting emotions I don't know what is.
But I love my K's, even if I do end up with a crazy case of Second Lead Syndrome!
SO many emotions to experience watching K-drama!

I know SLS is hard to handle sometimes but it's all worth it in the end! Right?
Right! Good luck!
Fighting! emotion_yatta
