Yes my friends and fellow readers It is time for Ritsuki's Rant Numero Duo. Today we are talking about a subject that started as a minor annoyance but is now becoming a big pain in my a... *ahem* Well, anyway lets get started.

The topic today is spam... *insert dramatic evil music and thunder here*



For me there are 2 kinds of spam:



The GOOD Kind is the kind with the cute and/or funny images. Witty comments or news about somthing someones doing. An example being either The notice i sent out about this new rant or the notice about the gaia ball.

These I do not mind at all. I send well more then my fair share of these myself. Now... You must be thinking "What other type of spam is there?!?" well im about to answer your question.

The BAD Kind is the kind people blindly send. The ones that have no purpose what-so-ever other then clogging up your inbox so your REAL mail cant get in. Notices like



This is a complete and total lie and if you believe it enough to send it, you are losing your grip on reality... either that or you have watched "The Ring" way to many times. SEVEN DAYS!!!! Me? I have ignored a countless number of these and im still standing. Nothing bad has happened in my life. As a matter of fact my luck has even gotten a bit better. I FINALLY GOT A JOB! But thats for another topic.

The next type of mail... The type that people really just need to stop and think about before sending.



W...T...F... We are allowed to send this? NO... no your not allowed to send this If gaia wanted to send a message they could do it with about 3 lines of javascript coding and everyone on gaia would get it from "admin" whom we all know and love.

I know this for a FACT.

Also if these people are hackers the gaia admins could delete their accounts and ban them with a few clicks of the mouse. So if these people are indeed hackers Report them to gaia and they will take care of them. But there is absoulutely NO reason to fill up my inbox with this spam.



No... Attitude would be if i got ONE message like this and went crazy. But i have gotten a certian message 23 times in the past 3 days. The SAME exact one and yes i did count. And now im explaining to everyone that this is in fact a lie and explaining why. Im not saying this person is not a hacker. But gaia did not say we could send this.

I hope many of you have read this and from now on you will stop the chain of crap before it starts. I know i cant stop Spam completely... That is impossible. But, i do in fact hope i put a dent in the demon that is Spam-taro. If not aw-well

But hear this...

If I get another BAD spam in my inbox you WILL be reported. Thats what its there for. I havent used it before because it wasent as bad. But i will NOT tolerate this anymore
