My summer so far:
Had a ‘coming of age’ party at church. There was a DJ and I danced even tho the music wasn’t all that great. Me and a bunch of friends just talked most of the time. T’was a lot of fun and I stayed till it ended at midnight or so.
I spent a week at a friends house and had a blast. We hung around the house all day watching old movies and playing with her dog.
Took a week long trip to Boston with my church group. We stayed up late, got to see a lot of cool places, went shopping, etc. By the time I got home I was exhausted, but I didn’t get a chance to sleep in because……
the next day I started my volunteer job at a day camp. I got to help control a group of 17 kindergartners. At times (actually, a lot of time) they were fussy, but by the last day it took me 10 minutes to get the last one to stop hugging my leg. They are soooo cute at that age.
Now I’m cramming for a test on Wednesday before I start on my summer job at the end of the week.
