Welcome to my darkness,
come into my living hell.
This is where I reside and stay,
and to heal this pain as well...

I sit here in the darkness,
with no voice, no sound.
Thinking about life's mystery,
I realize it's quite profound...

But I shy away from such grandeur,
for it has shown me none.
I am just a small shadow,
among life's young...

She has shown me a better way,
by just extending her hand.
But why do I find myself coming back?
To the darkness of the land?

With her I am so happy,
the world just goes away.
But when I am all alone,
these voices come to stay...

Welcome to my darkness,

When I am with her,
the pain washes away.
But don't you see?
This pain wishes to stay...

When we are apart,
the pain comes slowly back.
Like a love long since forgot,
coming back slowly on the attack...

Her love is a double-edged sword,
that heals the pain it deals.
She is the only one that knows,
the pain that we both feel...

I have seen too much to hide it,
its written plainly on my face.
I have tried to love 3 others,
but they turned and vanished, no trace...
