Today I had a dream,
and I fear greatly,
for I do not know what it means...

In my dream I saw you sitting there,
leaning up against a weeping willow.
You were different somehow,
maybe it was because you were like-emo...

You were goth-like in nature,
as you continued to sit there.
You looked so beautiful,
so perfectly framed by the full moonlight...

You were weeping,
as I approached I noticed.
I hurried toward you,
but you did not, to me notice...

I than weeped, when I sat by your side,
why would you ignore me?
Why would you cast me aside?

I sat there next to you,
and wrapped my arm around you.
To my horror I passed right through,
and you still did not notice me...

I than saw that you were clutching two objects,
a picture and a letter.
In the picture was me,
full uniform and all, in a desert-land...

But why would you be weeping so?
Why would your body be wracking itself,
over just a letter of greating?

The moonlight caught it,
and I was able to see.
That it was not a letter of greeting,
but one about me...

A feeling of helplessness washed over me,
unlike any I have ever felt.
For you had really loved me,
and just now found out the blow I had been dealt...

I tried to talk to you,
to comfort you.
You looked up towards me,
not seeing, the tears I was shedding for you...

You instead felt the wind,
and said "I can hear you,
even now in my dispair..."

I finally was able to smile,
and the moonlight intensified on your face.
"I am always here for you,"
the wind softly said, playing over your face...

You closed your eyes,
and tears ran openly ran down your face.
I was dealt than another blow,
as I saw your arms than, wrapped around your waist...

It could not be,
but somehow I knew.
That the real reason for why you wept,
for what our child would not know...

I awoke in a cold sweat,
for, today I had a dream.
And I fear greatly,
for I do not know what it means...
