Hey peoples! It just rained REALLY hard here and all the streets near my house were flooded. My mom drove me to school and we went through some puddles that were higher than the tires. Seriously! Then I went to my dad's house and I couldn't get through the street to get to his house! You see, the road kind of takes a dip near the beginning of my street and that area gets flooded when it rains. This time it rained so much that the puddle was five feet high in some places! I had to walk through the yards of some strange peoples house just to get past it.
It seems to have been worse where my History teachers lives, because he couldn't even get to school. I don't blame him. At school, it was so windy that the stop signs were shaking like they were about to exploud and it was raining so hard that everyone and everything was soaked. What a great way to start Thanksgiving! Of course, it stopped raining the next day when my family and I didn't have a reason for going out of the house. How ironic.
