Basically, it goes like this...
More tiaye
this should help with the packs.

This is the ranks for Arataues Guard, so this isn't Alpha, Beta, etc. these have their own special names.
Have Fun!

_________
Lumin. The Lumin is the leader of the Guard - similiar to the Alpha of any other pack. He is always male, and is in charge of calling meetings, organizing hunts, and making other executive decisions. He is also responsible for maintaining good relationships within the pack, and has the power to excommunicate any unsuitable member after gaining consent of the rest of the Council*.

Lumina. The Lumina is the female leader of the Guard. She is usually mated to the Lumin, but not always. She and the Lumin share equal ruling over Guard members, but when it is only the Lumina who exists, she makes absolute decisions with the help of the Council*.

Argent. The Argent is like the Beta of any other pack. He or she is the only Argent, as there can only be one at this time (as the pack expands, more Argent ranks may be opened). The Argent acts as an ambassador for the pack, taking care of interpack relations. He/she is also a member of the Council*, and takes part in making executive decisions with the Lumin and Lumina. Plural: Argentum.

Adamantum. Singular: Adamant. Adamantum are the adult subordinates of the guard - although they are not Argentum or the Lumin or Lumina, they are still treated with utmost respect for their loyalty. The Adamantum can recruit suitable members for the Guard (as can all ranks - recruiting is not solely limited to wolves with higher ranks). They are warriors and hunters for the Guard, and also take care of smaller duties when needed (pupsitting, etc).

Youths.Wolves younger than one year are considered Youths. They are not responsible for much except growing up. Includes pups and adolescents-- adolescents may be assigned tasks to prepare them for adulthood. At the age of around eight months, a Youth can legally leave the pack if he or she so desires.

Warriors of Darm
_____________________
War Leaders: The head honcho. The War Leaders are the fiercest, most ferocious animals in the pack. Not only do they have to be sinister and cruel, but wise and rash as well. The rank is seldom challenged for, but when it is the fight almost always ends up with death to one of the wolves. The word of the War Leaders is never disobeyed or challenged, for the outcome would be a certain death. They make every decision within the pack from mating privileges, to when the wolves get to hunt.

Beta (Advisor): The Beta is second in command, and is often an older wolf. Beta's are chosen to give the War Leader's advice on certain situations, and therefore are usually older and wiser. This is not always the case, however. Some Beta's can be young and just as experienced. In the event of an absence of the War Leaders, the Beta takes charge. It is understood by the entire pack that when the Beta is in charge that is just as if (s)he were the War Leader.

Gamma: The Gamma, also called Head Warrior, is a very quick-minded wolf. He is in charge of the Warriors and their battle plans. He must be able to come up with a course of action in a second and must organize those under his command. This rank is the most challenged for, but seldom changes. The Gamma is chosen because of his/her ability to put the life of the pack before the wellbeing of themselves.

Lead Hunter: The job of the Lead Hunter, also called Head Spy, is to bring news to the council about his cadre's success. The Lead Hunter is in charge of 3 Hunters. He is chosen to be Lead Hunter for exceptional qualities that others under the rank of Hunter may not possess. The Lead Hunter has to be an amazing liar, quick footed as well as minded, and as sneaky as wolves come. The main tasks under the Lead Hunter's belt are to organize the Hunters, lead them on missions into other pack territories, and to report back to the Table of Council (See Hunters for detailed description)

Lead Runner: The job of Lead Runner has many similarities to Lead Hunter as well as Gamma. The Lead Runner is in charge of 3 Runners. He must be the most quick of all the wolves in the pack and, therefore, are usually small in stature. The Lead Runner is one of the six members of the Table of Council to bring news of what has happened in other packs that his cadre has most recently found out.

Warriors: Usually the quickest rank to fill up, Warriors must be strong, agile, quick witted, and willing to die for their pack, as that is how most of them end their lives. Warriors are under the instruction of the Gamma and make up the majority of the wolves who fight. They must be dedicated to their pack and, like the Gamma, must put the future of the pack before their own lives.

Hunters: Hunters, also called Spies, are not actually hunters. Their job is to run between packs and Rogues and get information for the War Leader. They must be adept at lying and be able to hunt for themselves, for they are often away from the pack. Out of all the ranks, Hunter's are usually looked down upon. Their lying ability makes it impossible to know whose side they are on, and are usually given useless chores by those ranked above them.

Runners: The Runners' job is basically described in the name. They are messengers between packs or scouts of long distances. They must be quick, agile, and able to lie if captured by others. They are usually small and lithe, making it easier for them to run. They must have endless endurance to make the long treks their War Leaders give to them.

Whelps: The babies of the pack. They are usually born to the War Leaders but, under special privileges, can be born to others in the pack. The pups are usually taken care of by the Beta since the other wolves rarely have time. If a wolf is getting old, he may take a whelp to train in his place. This rarely happens, for wolves in the pack are never eager to have a defenseless whelp in their care. However, the War Leader's word is law. If he assigns a pup to another, they must do as they wish. Once the pup reaches about 9 months, they are kicked out of the pack and left to fend for themselves, unless the prove themselves worthy of a rank.

Pariah pack
______________________
Demme: Demmes are basically the alphas of Pariah- they lead the pack and have the final say when it comes to decision making in the pack. They are generally respected by the members of the pack, and what they say goes. There are two, usually a male and female.

Themba: The Themba is like the beta of Pariah. The Themba is very close to the Demmes and aids them in deciding what is best for the pack.

Fiducia: The Fidicia are the Council in Pariah. One member of the Fidicia is referred to as a Fides. The job of the Fidicia is to listen to the other members of the pack, and present their issues to the Demmes and Themba. The Fidicia are also consulted for decision making advice.

Senuim: These are the valued seniors of Pariah. They are wise and have a lot of experience behind them. All the members of Pariah, regardless of rank, respect the Senium and many come to them for advice. The Senium are always happy to entertain the pups with stories of their own youthful days, and sometimes you can catch other members of the pack listening in, too.

Zengea: These are the hunters of Pariah. They are wolves who are clever and fast so that they can outsmart and outrun their prey. They provide food for those members who are unable to hunt for themselves, as well as young pups and pregnant females.

Valen: The Valen are the wolves who make up Pariah's army. Should Pariah ever get into a conflict with another pack, these are the wolves who would defend Pariah and perhaps carry out an attack if the need arises. These wolves are strong and usually males.

Solitus: The Solitus are the ordinary members of Pariah, over one year of age.

Novus: The Novus are the future of Pariah, the pups. Wolves considered Novus are under one year of age. When they reach one, they become Solitus. Their only job is to learn how to fend for themselves.

Orne Cadre
____________________
Alphas. The leaders of the pack. It's their job to lead the pack in general day-to-day affairs, as well as take control when the pack is in times of hardship. They are usually strong, yet clever at the same time, meaning they can lead the pack but still have enough force to defend themselves. There are usually two, a male and a female.

Beta. As a beta, it is their job to advise the alphas in decisions such as which hunt to take or which packs to form alliances with. Where the alphas are usually the strongest, the betas are usually the smartest, being the advisors that they are. Again there are usually two, a male and a female.

Subordinates. These are just general members of the pack. They can be any gender and any number, and there are no set requirements.

Omega. Either the youngest or weakest member of the pack, they are often looked down upon by the other members, and sometimes told to do unwanted tasks by the alphas.

Pups. The pups of the pack. Usually below one year old, they are assisted by other members of the packs, but should always know their place.

Yay!
