Well our first poetry assignment was to write a simile poem for an emotion. Here's mine:
Lonelliness is the faded color of gray
It sounds like an echo traveling for miles
It tastes like cold soup, untouched for days
It smells like... nothing
It looks like a shadowy figure standing in heavy fog
Loneliness feels like a cold breeze coming across one's face
Its pretty boring, right? I thought it was, so for fun, i changed it a little...
Loneliness is the faded color of gray
When someone has felt left out for days
For so long, he hasn't shown a smile,
It sounds like an echo traveling for miles.
Untouched cold soup, that's what it taste like
It basically the same as the lonely one's life
He sees a shadowy figure standing right there
In the distance, fining something that they share
They're both lost and they don't know
what to do now or where to go
They feel a cold gentle breeze
Coming across their faces as they turn and leave.
