hey, here is my story that i have recently been working on!!!!!!! yay!!!!!!!!!!!
TRANSAPIENS
Every three hundred years, the star constellations line up all side by side. This big account creates major changes with us humans that are so big that the last time this had occurred, eight humans were infused with animals and certain magical beings that cannot be seen on the usual plane that human eye can see. Thus, the humans became part human, part animal, and part magical. No one knew of this other than the ones that had taken the transformation and the ones with the mark at birth. The knowledge has been passed down for many years until this very day where eight very close friends are getting prepared. Only they and the other family members with the mark have this knowledge and that is why they are so close. But this great change had also brought evil so powerful that it was able to stay on earth and lurk in the depths of the shadows and feed on death and despair. But every year, it has grown weaker and powerless than before, it has waited for the constellations to once again line up so it can get even more powerful than it was and be able to destroy the eight humans so they wont be there to stop all the chaos and destruction it was made to do, it can’t with them getting in its way.
CHAPTER 1
“Bye ma!” Carmen called as she slammed the trailer door shut after her two brothers. The wind ruffled her light golden brown hair and she was wearing her favorite outfit, her black t-shirt with jeans and a mini skirt over it. She had her hair down like always and wore her favorite shoes which were white with a signature from her old friend on one with permanent marker. She held her notebooks that she wrote stories in and a book that she always carried around for she was a bookworm and had a book wherever she went. Quietly, she stood there waiting for the bus and made sure that her brothers didn’t make such a ruckus. The girl that lived across the street that Carmen and Sarah, Carmen’s best friend, despised so dearly came out and sneered at her. Carmen scowled at her in return and made sure that her brothers crossed the street okay. Then, she crossed and climbed onto the bus. As usual, the girl sat in front of Sarah’s assigned seat so she couldn’t sit there to talk to her. Sarah handed her a note and watched her sit by their other friend Alison. Alison was the oldest of the friends and the second coolest. She used to have blonde hair before she had this sudden urge to dye her hair bright red a day or two before Halloween. Nowadays, all of Alison’s friends spot her by her red hair or her bright pink jacket she wears sometimes. Carmen slumped into the seat next to her. “Hey.” Carmen said trying to sound like her usual self. “Hey.” Alison said and reached over and took Carmen’s books so she could take off her backpack. “So, write anything new?” Carmen shook her head quietly. “No, I haven’t been in the mood to write or think of anything.” Carmen said rolling her eyes. Alison nodded and went back to reading. Carmen looked down at the note. Hey, Erin is driving me crazy, help me please! And how did you date go with Jarral last night? -Jynx Carmen forced a smile since she knew that Sarah was looking back at her. She then grabbed her things, stood up, and moved to the seat behind Sarah. Alison waved goodbye and got off the bus. “Allo!” Sarah said doing her little hand wave with a peace sign. Carmen faked another smile. “Hey.” Right then, one of Carmen’s brothers sat next to her. “What now twerp?” Carmen grouched. “That’s harsh! All I wanted was to know something about the stars.” He got a look of pleading. “No, ma didn’t tell you because it was only passed down to the ones with the mark and do you have the mark? No, so beat it!” She snapped. “Hey Tony, you tell me then.” He said leaning forward. “Nope, I am not in the mood to.” “So Carmen, what are you going to do on Saturday? I was thinking that we could get everyone together and go to our usual hang out.” Sarah said to change the subject. Carmen looked up at her. “But we have to get prepared for Sunday remember?” Sarah snapped her fingers in disappointment. “I forgot all about that!” “I can’t wait, but it takes up our whole weekend!” Carmen said rolling her bright green eyes. Sarah’s blue eyes with green edging around it stared at her. Carmen thought that she must have heard the fakery in her voice. “Yeah it does.” Sarah accidentally spoke a little too loud. “Will you two shut up?” The bus driver yelled back at them. Carmen saw her friend glare at the bus driver and at that moment she thought she heard her say what she was going to do. “Sarah!” Carmen said shocked. “What?” Sarah turned back to her and looked at her questioningly. “Don’t you dare do that.” “Do what?” “Oh, you know what you were thinking.” “Huh? What was I thinking?” She asked. Carmen nodded to the bus driver and slid a finger across her throat and acted like she was dying. “How did you know that?” Sarah asked amazed. Carmen shrugged her shoulders and looked out the window sadly. The bus pulled into the school drop-off and everyone hurried off. Carmen waited for Sarah to get off the bus and then they walked inside the school. The two of the other four friends waited in the hallway by the doors as they came in. They all walked to class together. Carmen stayed quiet for most of the time and kept her head bent and she stared at her feet gripping her books tightly. “You two missed it! Liz was doing these things to make fun of the teacher!” Shyanne cried as they entered the classroom. “That’s her usual thing she does each and everyday.” Sarah commented. Carmen nodded and the bell rang. Quickly, Carmen took her seat and opened her book to read. She wasn’t really reading but, lost in her own sad thoughts. This time, she didn’t realize that all of her friends were staring at her until a cold, glassy tear dripped off her cheek. She suddenly hid her face in her book and wiped it away. Once sure her face was clear, she shut her book. Katie, or known as Spaz, laid a hand on her shoulder. “Carmen, what’s the matter?” Spaz asked concerned. “Yeah, what is the matter? I could tell something was up on the bus.” Sarah butt in. Carmen shook her head silently. All of her friends saw that when Jarral walked in, she hid her face in her arms. Sarah got the idea and shot him an evil glare and turned back to Carmen. “Tell us wolf. What did he do?” Carmen raised her head a bit after rubbing her eyes. “He...cheated on...and dumped...me...” Her voice broke after that and she hid her face again. Sarah looked up and Matt was strolling across the classroom to his seat beside Carmen. His dark brown eyes looked at Carmen concernedly. Matt had just moved here from a different state but had made great friends fine, especially with Carmen. He looked over at Sarah and saw that she was gripping the desk with all her might to restrain her from getting up and her eyes flared, glaring at one particular person, Jarral. All at once, Matt knew that something had happened between Jarral and Carmen. He sat down in his seat. “What’s the matter with wolf?” He asked questioningly. “That pompous jerk over there cheated on her.” Liz said pointing at Jarral. “I’m going to kill him, I am going to rip his stupid heart out slow and painful.” Sarah said through gritted teeth. Carmen straightened up and shot Sarah a look. “Not as long as I am alive you’re not!” She cried. Sarah glared at her. “Party pooper!” Matt had to laugh at this. Whenever it came to Carmen’s boyfriends, their fights were so funny. This time anyways was funny but saddening. He could see that Carmen was horribly hurt inside and that hurt him too but he liked it that Sarah was ready to kill the jerk who hurts her and he wanted to also. The bell rang again and this time the teacher spoke up and everyone pulled out their books. Matt handed Carmen a letter. Are you sure that you’re alright? -Aznskills Carmen’s mood lightened. Yes, I am just a little heart broken, that’s all. -Emo Wolf She handed back the note and started to read the lesson like always. She thought that this chapter in history was very interesting for these wars were very important to the country. Matt handerd her a note again as she finished reading. She took it and opened it again. I’m siding with foxy on this one. Please, oh please, can I throw just a few punches at him? -Aznskills No! No punching him whether or not he deserves it! You guys already scared him once, and to tell you, I am not the type that has violence to deal with my problems. -Emo Wolf She wrote and handed the note back. He read it and smiled at her. She didn’t notice for she was busy writing her homework down. Then, the teacher got up and left the room. Jarral got up and came over to Carmen with a smug smile on his face.
