I traveled fast. I made it to the Sand Village in less than a day. I realized my body was moving faster than it normally should. THIS was the technique Master Jiraiya had told me about. His pupil was amazing at it from the way Jiraiya had bragged him up. He never told me he taught the Fourth Hokage. I found out on my own. Jiraiya said that I reminded him of his pupil.

There was no one in the sand village other than villagers. Most of the ninja were destroying my home, the Leaf. I explored and got all the information I needed. The last Kazekage was killed by Orochimaru. I knew that the Sand Ninja would be back soon so I began my journey towards Otogakure. I thought maybe I could get some answers out of Orochimaru.
