Could be a stalker?
Aiko, Ryo's long time friend, had been at his apartment for most of the day, studying her deck and creating new strategies. She was deep in though until she heard footsteps approach the door, and telling from the way they walked, it was him all right. "the door is unlocked Ryo! come on in." she said in a happy, almost sing song voice, knowing very well that he would want to know how she got in. Aiko then went back to humming and continued her studies.
She smiled as she remembered when they first me several years ago. Aiko was just a young child, about 6 or 7. Her mother, who was her only parent had died from a house robbery gone wrong. Aiko had been badly traumatized by the time the authorities came. Seeing as she had no living family or relatives that wanted her, she was put into the orphanage, the same one as Ryo's. At first she rejected and feared any human contact. She stayed alone for a few weeks just watching other children play or watched the clouds, her expression always sad and somewhat lonely. She felt like no one could understand how she felt... that was until she met Ryo. After some coaxing with the girl, she quickly grew attached to Ryo and always spent time with him since then.
Aiko smiled and laughed softly at the memory. "my have years changed. at first no one could separate us, but now with my line of work and the grueling yet fun hours I hardly have time to see you." she whispered "after being separated it took me a while to find your home, but thanks to Mr. Moto I found you again." she opened a locket around her neck with a picture of her and Ryo when they still were in the orphanage. "My old friend, how I've missed you so."
