An enraged Hulk battles the Thing in the ruins of Las Vegas. On the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, Iron Man is confronted with the casualties of Hulk's latest rampage by S.H.I.E.L.D. Commander Maria Hill who feels Iron Man should have neutralized Hulk previously. Iron Man gathers the remaining Avengers and details his plan to dupe Hulk into destroying a "malfunctioning" weapons satellite. The satellite will launch Hulk to a predetermined uninhabited planet to live out his remaining days.
