• Chapter One


    I was in the biggest crisis of my life! I couldn't believe it! But I should start from the beginning.

    Hi my name is Cristine, but everyone calls me Christy. I'm 5ft 4". Everyone says I'm very skinny, but I don't think so. I have dark brown hair and honey eyes. My best friend thinks I'm very attractive but if that were true, I wouldn't be single. I go to Highland Hill High. I don't have very many friends. My best friend's name is Opal. And I have a HUGE crush on a guy named Jake Power.

    I was walking down the hallway of my school to my locker, when suddenly Jake started to walk in my direction. In panic I put my head in my locker, but I ended up sticking my head in so hard I hit the back of my locker, knocking me unconscious. I woke an hour after with Opal and Jake staring at me.

    "Are you okay? You had a concussion." Jake asked.
    "You'd think if you just looked at the words you just said you'd know."said Opal.
    I never got why Opal doesn't like Jake, I thought to myself.
    "I have a headache."I complained.
    "Figures, she get a concussion and the first word she says is 'headache'"complained Mrs.Stien." Now you kids get outta here and get to class!"

    Classic Stien, always complaining.... I dont get why anyone would hire her, I thought.

    So I got out of the nurses office, and went to my period 2 class, Science. Unluckily, today we were discecting frogs. So right when I went in I put on a lab coat, goggles, and gloves. Then I went to the door to see who was my lab partner, and my heart jumped when I read this:

    Oh my gosh    , I thought, I can't believe this! I'd love it but what am I supposed to say to him? I can barely talk to him for 10 seconds, let alone an hour! What am I going to do?

    I walked to my seat, and looked to my left and... GREAT! Jake wasn't there. I looked at the door and it opened, in came the teacher, Mrs.Hayworth, and Jake. I started panicing when he sat next to me.

    "Hey, wassup? Are you my partner?"Jake asked
    Come on, I thought, use your words, you can do it!
    "Y-Y-Yes."I stuttered.
    "Are you still hurt from the hit?"
    "N-n-no."stop stuttering!
    "Good."

    I tried to hold it back, but it didn't work.. I blushed and giggled.
    "Are you sure your okay, I can take you back to the nurse?"Jake offered.
    I giggled some more... Gosh stop it!!!
    "No I'm fine."

    During the discection, I tried with all of my will not to throw up. I managed not to barf the whole time. I looked to my left while I walked that way, and taking off my lab coat at the same time, to leave the classroom and Cindy looked like she couldn't hold on any longer since she had frog blood all over her labcoat. so she got up, and barfed all over me.

    I went to the lost and found an adorable blue and red mini dress, I put it on, and noone could keep their eyes off of me. I loved it as much as I hated it, because, as you can imagine, it attracted Jake right over to me.

    "Hey. You look good! Where did you get your dress?" asked Jake.
    "Me?"I asked.
    "No your locker, yes you!"Jake laughed.
    I love his laugh, I thought.
    "I keep an extra in my locker."I lied.
    "Sweet."Jake said
    Hmmm.. His eyes are soooo dreamy.
    "Christy, you there?" Jake asked and looked at me weirdly.
    "Huh? Oh, yeah. Sorry."I said happily.
    The bell rang. Time to go home, I thought grumpily.
    So I got on the bus and went home.
