• "Is there a way out?" A women asked
    "No... I'm quite sorry madam." A doctor relpied to her. "She won't live too long. Because of her abnormal sickness, you'll have to be very carful if you want her to live."
    "I-I see..." Esther was about three when those two had that conversation. she was scared out of mind when her mother picked her up, crying her eyes out. A little later in Esther's life, about age 6, her Mother had died in a car accident. Her Grandparents took her in because she had no Father. They were the ones who told Esther about her disese, Anorexia.
    She could only eat small portions of food, that were easy for her body to digest, or she would throw up. She always feared death in a strange way. She wanted to feel the embrace of death.
    She just didn't want to die.

    When Esther walks home with her Grandmother's medicine, and her own, she always thinks of how her Father died.
    Anorexia.
    She would remember how her mother would cry saying things like, "It's his fault..." and, "My daughter will die because of you..." Esther would cry hearing these words, at the mere age of 6, because she belived in the father that she could barely remember.
    "Mabey I'm just sick!" She yelled at her mother.
    "NO! There is no possible way you could've got the same disese as him coincedencealy. No way!" She yelled back.
    "Do you hate Father?"
    "Yes! He's killing you!"
    "If you hate Father, then I hate you!" Esther loved her family so dearly, even the ones she hadn't met, or remember. Her Mother looked right through Esther's lie, "I hate you!" Because she knew that Esther could not hate. It even brought tears to Esther's eyes when she said it.
    "I'm sorry. I-I'm just... frustrated because I love you." Mother said.
    "It's okay... I'm sorry t-to." Esther said, with tears running down her cheeks. "Please forgive me... I love you mother."
    "Yes, I love you too." She said with a smile. Still, Esther feels that, her Mother didn't acually forgave her. She just said, 'I love you.'
    Esther had her first heart attack that day.

    In the emergency room, Esther was alive, but troumatized. She slowly woke up thinking to herself, Alive... ALIVE! The air... It feels good. My heart is puming blood through me... alive... She knew some things were worse than death: Dying and living to tell about it.
    "Esther, oh my dear Esther!" cried her mother. I didn't even see her there... "Honey? Are you alright?"
    "Y-yeah.. I'm just a bit light headed." Esther said weakly.
    "Are you sure? I can go get you some water. Would you like some?"
    "Um..." But before she could reply, Mother was gone. Lucily, Mother returened shortly with the water.
    "Here you are dear," She placed the water in Esther's hand, "it will cool down your fever."
    "Thank you." She said with smile. Esther loved her Mother. She loved everything about her.
    "Um... excuse ma'm." A nurse said.
    "Yes? Is there somthing worng?" Mother said, hopeing for the opposite.
    "Oh no, it's just that visiting hours are over. Our paitiant needs rest."
    "Oh... I see." She said nearly crying. "Then I'll be on my way." She kissed Esther on the forhead, and said good bye. "I'll come back tommorow to check on you."
    "Ok... I love you." She also said nearly crying.
    "Love you too dear. Sweet dreams."
    What happaned next was unthinkable.
    It made Esther hate rain.

    ~~~
    That night, it was raining hard as Mother drove home. So dark... I hope Esther dosn't worry. she thought. Unfortantly, Mother spoke too soon. A speeding car swerved out of control, hitting her car, and tumbeling it. Three times her car rolled, crushing Mother's body.
    ~~~

    The next day, Esther cried all day. Because she could not leave her hospitle bed, she could not see her Mother, who she thought was alive. Stupid rain.. It's all the rains' fault! Now mother can't see me! I wanted to make her feel better like she did for me! When Esther learned that her mother was dead, She cried even harder, she attacked the doctors saying, "WHY DIDN'T YOU SAVE HER?! WHY! i JUST WANTED TO SEE HER!!!" A week later, a funeral was held, and after all the others had left afterwards, Ester stayed next to her Mother's grave.
    "I love you." She said, and carved the words, 'I love you too dear' into the stone.
