• PREFACE

Everything is so....blurry. I feel a cold wave engulf me. Why did things end this way? I didn't even get to.....

I don't regret what happen. On the contrary, I'm glad I met her. I hope she feels the same way. I'm sure she does....

Truthfully, I thought she was gone forever. She left a big hole in my heart. Where could she have gone? I......

She suddenly came back into my life. The moment I just was about to give up....

Like she knew. Like she always did. Her and her knowing, understanding face....

What is that noise. A...voice? It sounds so....familiar. Like, a voice he knew. Should know? Which one? He....

    Could it be.......

    Ch.1 Meeting.

    “Come along, Christian.”

“I don’t want to go!” whines the boy.

“Christian,” says the woman, sternly, “We are just going to greet our new neighbors. Besides I think they have a child you can play with.”

The boy, Christian, grumbles. He didn’t care. He just wanted to play. Besides, it’s not like his mom needed him to help. It was a waste of time.

As they came upon the house, Christian looks u to the second story. For a brief second, he sees something in the window. What was it? It…. looked kinda scary.

His mom rings the door bell. They wait for a few moments and the door opens.

A woman, tall and slender, looks at them “Yes? May I help you?”

His mom smiles. “Yes. I’m Cathy Hanes and this is my son, Christian. I thought we come and welcome you to the neighborhood. She hands the woman a covered plate of brownies.

The woman returns her smile. “Oh thank you. I’m Kate Jackson. Do you want to come in?’

“Sure. Come on, Christian.” she took hold of his hand.

Christian thought it would be interesting to go into the lady’s house, but it was so…. old-looking. It had a lot of vases, pots and lots of other things, he proberly would not be able to touch.

“-if you want. It’s in the next room.”

“I would love too. Christian, stay here, alright.” his mom stood up and walked into the other room with Mrs. Jackson.

Like he was going to stay here. He was going to find out what was on the second story of this house.

He found the stairs. He walks up and when he got to the top, he found a dark hallway.

He saw a some light. He walks toward it slowly.

Christian stood before the door. He could hear a…. voice?

He grabs the door knob and turns it. He opens the door. It was a very bright room. He stood there. A girl, at the window, was singing in a very low tone. It was so….

He moves toward her and as he steps on the wooden floor it squeaks. The girl turns around quickly.

They both look at each other. She was so cute. She was small and fragile-looking. Her dark brown hair was in pigtails. Her big hazel eyes orbs, looks into his carmel ones.

    Then she began to scream…..
