• I turned the ID card over in my hands. Finally I was an official member of the Organization. A Harrier. I looked up at my friends Cents and Ger.

“Something's wrong with your face D,” Cents said.

“Aw come on Cents. I expect that kind of attitude from Ger, but not you.” I said.

Both of them looked kind disappointed. Okay, well Ger looked the same as always. With his straight face and all, I at least expected a smile.

“I donno D, it's just what the trainers said yesterday. You know about our partners,” Clear looked away from me and down the line of other new Harriers, “This White guy seems like a lot of responsibility. And what they said about your partner,” he shivered, “Just seemed scary.”

    “Stop it,” Ger said quietly.

    “Huh?” Clear asked.

    “Yeah, whats wrong?”

“Were Harriers now. I'm Gray, and you guys are Dark and Clear now. We use those names. No Harrier uses trainee names.”

“That's.... that's really random Gray,” Clear said. Gray smiled a little, something insanely rare.

“So, Dark why aren't you scared of having Black for a partner?” Clear asked.

“You really shouldn't judge Black just because of what the trainers said,” Gray answered, “He's a good guy who doesn't deserve the criticism he gets. If you mess up like that from the start, you'll get off on his bad side, and he won't even think about you when he gets back into special opps. And don't worry about White, Clear. Sometimes he's clingy, but he's a good guy too. Plus, you can do the impossible, you can handle White.”

I breathed out a little laugh. I always admired how Gray could make long speeches and still keep the same tone and and facial expression. Sometimes it was just plain weird though.

“You really think so?” Clear asked, still unsure.

“Yeah,” I said, “Gray's right. One he's always right, two you're brilliant. You can handle any situation, and handle it with flying colors.”

One of the trainers came up to us. “Clear, Dark, Gray, come with me.” He said, “We'd like you to meet your new partners away from the others.”

We went to follow the Trainer. Clear whispered to me, “told you there's something wrong with them.”

I tried to hide my concern. I don't think I did a very good job, cause Clear was still looking at me with the I told you look.

We entered an empty room. Half of it was pitch black, our side was dimly lit. The door slammed behind us. I gulped air. Okay, maybe Clear was right.

“GRAY,” something tackled Gray to the floor.

The something was a dirty blond haired boy, with bright yellow-green eyes. Well, at least it looked like a boy, his hair was pulled into a ponytail and he wore a beige shirt with white lined along the sleves and the wide neck line.

“White get off him!” A pale hand tugged on the back of the girly boy's shirt.

The pale hand lead to a boy with long blue green hair that covered his left eye and brown eyes. He looked insanely scary. I felt like falling to the ground from just looking at him.

“Oi, don't be too rough with him Black,” The voice was smooth and silky. (so it was a he)

“What, no thank you Silver? I just saved your baby bro from a White glomp.” Black said angrily.

“It's not White's fault. We haven't seen Greg- er, Gray in a long time. Sorry about that.” the insanely beautiful boy said.

He wasn't girly like the other boy. He was pretty, stunningly pretty. With light purple hair that was messy but neat at the same time. And his sky blue eyes were so shiny. He looked nothing like Gray.

I sighed, “Fine, I guess you're right. By the way, Long time no see G.”

“It's no big deal. It's not like it's your fault,” Gray glared at Silver, it was subtle and almost emotionless (then again so was everything Gray did).

“Aw come on bro. It's not like I get a break here at the Organization,” Silver flashed his manipulative smile, “Plus now were together.”

“Don't do that to him,” I rolled my eyes at Silver.

“Don't worry it's not like it works. I grew up with bro flashing around his looks.” Gray said. I think I just felt a breeze...

“That not fair Gray.” Silver pouted.

“Stop,” White's partner said (I have no idea what his code name is, just that he's not my partner), “Gray is getting upset. We don't need people sliced up.”

Sliced up? I wonder what Gray's Psych was.

The breeze calmed down. You wouldn't think it, but wind is a strange element. It's harmless sometimes, but out of control it becomes really strong and could slice skin. Gray had good control of his emotions, but if one of those emotions gets out of control, he completely loses it.

Gray and his partner left the room. I didn't catch what they were saying.

“Hey you,” the scary one said. He had let go of White and now stood alone facing me. So this was Black.

    “Uh, yeah?”

“Come with me, were partners now right.”

“Yeah, I guess so.” I couldn't stop shaking, there was just something that bugged me about him.

I followed him out of the room. He showed me around the whole of Harrier territory. Only fifteen minuets ago I was excited. But now, my Harrier High was gone. All I had left was a gut feeling that being a Harrier wouldn't be as great as I thought it would be.
