• The big fat thug was now within 5 feet of us, I had to do something because Angeni wasn’t doing anything. I hid behind my tall friend and pushed and imaginary box with my hands.
A branch grew fantastically through the window and grabbed the fat mans arm. The branch tugged on his arm as I pulled on an imaginary rope. The fat man fell with a loud crash and the table obviously broke. The men in the window had retreated at the sight of about 7 more branches chasing them around outside.
Angeni turned and looked at me.
“Why now they are going to want you for sure. They only wanted one thing before that but now they see a beautiful girl that has power.” Angeni had a good point. I looked up at him curious to see if he was mad. “Doesn’t worry I’m not leaving today but I will have to get the eggs to my mother before they starve. Do you think you can handle it if I leave you in this gross hospital for an hour with the creep?”
I nodded he gave me a reassuring hug and whispered in my ear, “It’ll be alright.”
He let go and walked over to the cafeteria door. He looked back and smiled.
A few minutes later I had to walk through the rubble and I saw the fat man. I kicked his stomach and I heard a groan meaning he would be down for at least three hours. I grunted and walked on until I reached the door and then I saw the “creep” as Angeni puts it.
“Hi Jack.” I said seeing that apparently what had gone on in the cafeteria stayed in the cafeteria and everyone was unconcerned with the some ten vines lying on the sanitary grounds of the lunch room. I hadn’t even eaten breakfast because of the fat guy. Jack stood up quickly from his thinking position.
“Hello Janet.” I groaned at the name it wasn’t very me anymore
“What is the matter?” he asked apparently wondering what happened.
“Nothing cre-Jack.” I had almost called him creep
“Oh well what is up with that weirdo that just left?” he was definitely referring to Angeni
“He is not a weirdo and he thinks you’re a creep too.” I crossed my arms and stuck my nose in the air. Boys needed to stop judging before they know each other.
“His name is Angeni anyway.” I slowly brought my head down. I looked at Jack and saw that he was surprised.
“He isn’t coming back is he?” Jack asked, apparently still didn’t like Angeni.
“He is as a matter of fact.” I looked down the hallways and saw busy nurses and people in wheelchairs. He groaned at my reply.
“Well he certainly does a lot better than you do at helping me out. What ever happened to ‘I don't hurt people it's alright’? You certainly don’t help people.” He looked at me and stood up and patted his knees.
“Fine then I thought I was helping by bringing you here and by the way I do help and you don’t know it.” He left the building walking down the hall. Before he left he had dropped the already scratched up wolf bracelet on the chair he had been on.
I wondered when Angeni was coming back I needed him to keep calm. I sighed and then realized I could now keep my promise to Angeni. I picked up the bracelet and looked at it jumping in the air. I had no clue what was so special about the bracelet besides the fact that it moved.
I then walked into my room, without breakfast I passed many people. As I did I saw a little girl on a bench who was sobbing. I stopped next to her and patted her back a little bit. She continued sobbing and looked up at me with sad eyes. Her eyes were a bright green and her hair was long and curly that went down to her waist
