• A few hours after my insane Gaia dream, I sat through another boring history lecture at school, dressed in a normal black t-shirt and blue jeans, instead of my badass Gaia avatar outfit, which I kinda missed right now. I was so stricken with boredom, that I actually dozed off and fell asleep. What seemed like a few minutes later, my eyes fluttered open, and I got up to my feet, once again clad in my black Gaia outfit, and sporting my avatar's blue hair. I looked around and saw that I was in a large, majestic throne room of sorts, meaning I was probably in a castle somewhere. Star's voice hit my eardrums as she said, "Glad you decided to join us, you lazy bum." I was kinda confused, so I asked her, "Us? There's someone else here?" I heard a male voice laughing a bit, and I turned to see a man sitting on the large throne. He had dark black skin, which was common for dark elves on Gaia, and long, snow white hair. He was decked out in a white jacket, but it was opened up to reveal his chest, and he also wore a matching pair of white pants and shoes. He was also equipped with a katana sword sheathed on his back. He looked me over, then smiled, saying, "So, you're the one who jumped off a cliff to save Star here? I don't know whether to call ya brave or stupid. Either way, from what I'm picking up from all this, you seem like a stand up guy. Anyway, I don't think I've seen you anywhere in the land of Gaia before. You can call me Drizzt. I'm the guy who runs things here in MGOR. What's your name, stranger?" I thought for a bit, not sure if I should use my real life name, so I decided to give Drizzt my username. I looked up at him, right into his eyes, and told him, "Vader. My name's Vader." Drizzt kept his smile on his face, and said, "nice to meet ya, Vader, and thanks for helping out Star here. She's a close friend of mine, and my third in command, and if those shadow bastards got her, I wouldn't know what to do. my scouts told me about how you killed the minotaur, and I was thinking....about having you join us." My eyes went wide, and I could say the same for Star, as she yelled, "But, Lord Drizzt! He only got lucky when he killed the minotaur, and he panicked the whole time! What makes you think he could be a soldier!?" Drizzt remained confident, like a true leader. "When I looked in his eyes, I saw all kinds of potential in him. He could really help us against the Shadow." He looked back at me, and asked, "So, Vader, what do you say? You want in?" I thought about this for a bit, then asked, pointing at Star, "do I get free fried chicken, and a date with her?" Star was confused, mostly because in this crazy dream world, she didn't know me at all, and before she could get mad and object, Drizzt said, "Well, I can handle the chicken, but I think you'll have to let Star decide on that last one." Star gave me a semi-glare, then sighed, saying, "Well, I don't know you well enough yet, but if you prove that you're not just some desperate moron, I'll call it a maybe." I thought for a bit, then gave them both a smile under my alien mask. "Looks like I've been drafted." Drizzt's winning smile never faded, as he said, "Good. I'll let Star take you to the military barracks, where she and the others in the army will train you to handle the power I saw in you, and hopefully, how to not kill yourself by jumping off a cliff." I laughed a bit, then got dragged out of the room by Star. I was still confuzzled about what Drizzt meant about that "power" that he said he saw in me, but I knew I'd learn at some point.
