• To set the mood, do listen to "All Fall Down" by One Republic. I must warn that it has suicidal mentions in here. I typed in most of the dialogue into Google Translate, then it gave me the Chinese in this story. Why did I write this? I've been in a dark place as of late...

"Xianglian, we did the right thing, didn't we?"

"Of course we did! This is only the beginning!"

That conversation keeps ringing in my ears, every single time I look at my necklace. For 4 years, Xianghua was oblivious to the murders. Edgemaster never told her...and I can't bear myself to even say just one thing. She keeps smiling, knowing everything will be alright. However, today was the day I would leave the Chinese girl. For both forces were volatile...and to stay, it would cause them to cause more tragedies. Bidding farewell to her as she slept, Maxi sighed.

"Are you sure this is the only solution? Maybe she'll take it well." he said, looking at me. The elder had done so much for us, giving us a ship to travel on, food for sustaining our strength and most of all, a friend to talk to. As we made our way around our surroundings, I sighed. The dark energy within myself and Kali-Yuga was getting stronger. A feeling that was reminescent of despair along with our deadly silence happened to be a sign that if I didn't tell him, it would eat me up from the inside. Still, he shouldn't know about this at all either. It was my fault that Kyam is dead. My own fault that Xianglian is dead too. For once, why couldn't I have been killed by the Evil Seed?

We soon departed at where some ships were sailing for the East. Maxi waved me off as a captain let me board. China was where I took those lives. This place was where I would take mine as well. My belongings were very meager. Only my clothes and 3 weeks worth of food. Maxi insisted on taking more on the voyage, but this was my last stand. As time went on, I carefuly worked on removing the necklace. This was like the curse of the Azure Knight...if only she understood.

China was soon in our sights within a few days. After stepping off, I headed for the ruins of the temple. Many people warned me not to tread there, but for once, those fell on deaf ears. Upon reaching there, the familiar face of Xianglian seemed to haunt me once more. Then her voice. No. This was clearly an illusion. But...what if it wasn't? Would all of this have been in vain?

    "Xiao didi!"

"Dàjiě, nǐ wèishéme lái chánzhe wǒ ne? Nǐ shì zǔzhòu dāopiàn běnshēn zàochéng yī zhǒng cuòjué ma?" I cried out in anguish. Thunder sounded in the distance as tears fell down my face. The torture had to end. After yanking off the necklace and feeling the corruption once more, I tore off towards what was my sister's voice.

"Nǐ wèishéme zhèyàng zuò ne? Edgemaster gāoxìng yǔ nǐ yǒu duō yuǎn? Xiǎng xiǎng nǐ rúhé zhìyù ài mǐ!"

My heart stopped upon hearing those words. This was surely a trap made by the dark skinned man. I slashed at where the sound came from.

"Dàjiě, gěi wǒ liú!" I cried out once more, looking at my surroundings. This very spot was the grave site where she was buried. Still, nobody could deter me from taking my own life. Grabbing Kali-Yuga, I headed back to where the necklace was abandoned. Upon finding it, I managed to throw it off a cliff, my weapon too.

After digging through the ashes and finding a faint sliver of the Evil Seed, I pressed it into my skin.

"Sister...I'm coming." I whispered. "Wait for me..."

Disclaimer: Had to write after looking at some SC fan-art as of late. And this song from "Moonlight" pushed my inspiration even more. Yes, I will write more.
