• Hope seeps like a fallen angel
    Crawling, lurking
Its angry eyes lust for vengeance
Devastating and consuming all into nothing
    A void, growing larger
Like a black hole devouring a sun
Casting its ominous shadow over everything cheerful
    Begging, pleading
Accept me as I am. Fallen from grace,
    Broken wings, cursed, diseased.
    Then the darkness consumes.
Eclipsing what personality I once had
Twisting the mind and destroying dreams
Crushed from the weight of my own mortality
Weakened by the fate I traded for chains
Decieved by light, enslaved by shadow
Defiled with no morals, replaced with spite
This disease spreads, contagious by touch
    Hope is gone, save yourself
The plague comforts like a cold damp brick
Slowly moving in the bowels of insanity
A tortourous plague to which there is no end
    Quarantined and secluded
Leave me to finish what God could not
