• dreams so thick with envy,
    heart so painted with dread,
    this mess upon the floor
are those thoughts within my head,
    i think a constant motion,
    of swirling butterflies,
    fluttering in circles
    before my very eyes.
    deep brown is the color,
of the windows to my soul,
    but red is the painting,
    upon my velcro wall,
    i stick to it,
    thoughts of you,
    dreams so thick with smiles,
    laughs glitter through the fields,
    of a thousand meeting whiles.
    a deep sigh is planted,
    within a swollen heart.
    beating like a drum,
broken like a glass upon the floor.
    i see a shining light,
at the window to the soul,
    a dream inside the fright,
    a beating willows drone,
    smiles shared,
    laughter brought,
    tears cried,
    never distraught,
    with you by my side,
    i know this is true,
    how could i ever find,
    a boyfriend like you,
    a careless meeting,
    a simple hello,
    was this fate?
    i certainly hope so.
a kiss to pass between the lips,
two arms to share an embrace,
a passionate meeting of the hearts,
    is a hundred mile race.
a secret meeting under the stars,
    yearning for your touch,
two things i know that truly are,
    before i come undone.
    lips that part,
    hands that move,
    limbs that tangle,
    is this true?
i find it hard to ponder,
    outside the screaming lust,
    that burns through my veins,
    like adreniline in a rush,
    smile dearest, smile,
and hold me in your arms,
for once our love is through
    there will be great harm,
so teach my with our silent kisses,
let my hands guide your heart,
    sway under yonder willow tree,
break away, a solem dreams heart.
