• The fear still on my face
    I remember that day
    I still tremble in fear
    Like it was just yesterday.

Wind blowing leaves over the yard
    Walking up those creaky steps
Fear running up and down my spine
Closer, closer, closer, still I crept.

    Hand on the doorknob
    Shivering from the cold
    "Who's there?"someone cried in a sob
"Who's that?" I said so bold.

"Do not enter for fear of death
Come in if you dare accept."
Fear running up and down my spine
Closer, closer, closer, still I crept.

And still I opened the door
    Then there was eerie silence
As I walked through the house
I saw the signs of violence.

As I walked back towards the door
I saw a shining light and lept
Fear running up and down my spine
Closer, closer, closer, still I crept.

I saw it was a pocket watch
"Touch the watch and you will vanish"
    Unbelieving I touched the watch
And from reality I was banished.
