• I am standing alone, wearing the purest bridal dress.
Because of my forsaken bridegroom, my father's men were in this mess.

He refused to release them, saying that they were slaves.
That only I, This Beautiful Bride, was the way for them to be saved.

I see a young girl, a beautiful girl of barely 16.
She fixed my dress before saying a small blessing.

I remember how my father cried, when I agreed to this plan.
I would marry the vile man, so that all will be free, every last man.

I then see my mother cry as if I am the lamb that was to be a sacrifice.
To my father's remaining men, I made this decision so other wont have to pay the price.

I saw a child come up and hug me, begging me to not go to the Dread.
I held her in my arm and told her that without this sacrifice, our brothers would be dead.

The music starts and I see that the army we fight, holding back those of my camp.
All began to cry, but knew that I have to do this so they let no tears show, not even a damp.

I see my Groom at the end of the aisle; I see my father and leader of the Dread on my right.
I know that my father's men will be released only if I marry him, and do it without a fight.

I say a silent prayer, crying as I walk down to the man that I must marry though I do not love.
As I walk, I know that I"m never alone for I have my Camp and of course, the love from above.

I reach him, he lifts my veil, smiling darkly at me yet he hasn't seen that I have so much light.
I will let the light for God take care of me, just as he has done even before all this fight.

This is me, the once free-spirited and loving Beautiful Bride.
And Fortunately, I left that man with the Lord by my side.
