Glancing at an orb,
Once pristine in glory,
Beautiful at a glance,
Joy had reined absolute.
A hand reaches out at them,
Hearts beat in time with them,
Souls bleed for them,
Her tears rain on them…
Once a world pure,
Now defiled by human thoughts,
Tainted by human deeds,
Turned and twisted,
Anger, Madness, Greed…
Slowly, she stands,
Arms holding her together,
A gleam shines in her eyes,
She bows.
The choice is not her own,
Actions are defined by supreme will,
Obeying the will, not her own,
She rises.
Swiftly, she flies,
Her blades soaked through,
Cries ring in the open air,
Hands reach out to her.
Gradually eyes shut,
Little by little sound ceases,
Heartbeats stop,
Quickly souls ascend.
She bows once more,
Her master is pleased,
Unaided tears fall soaking the earth,
Intermingling with the blood of the fallen.
