2nd DraftThe distant sound of water, the wind as it blows through the landscape. Serene and peaceful as a woman kneels at the edge of the cliff, looking beyond. Her arms once encircling herself fall to her side, as scarlet tears descend slowly down one cheek. Her voice that once rang silver chimes to those that listened has long been silenced by the weight of time. She has watched the landscape change and mold into something else. She has watched cities fall, lost ways of life that will never be known, wiped from the slate of human kind forever. Slowly her crimson lips part as a long awaited sigh escapes her lips. Her pale skin seems to gleam in the moonlight as her hair whips behind her, in the wind.
She has been a student of time, a warrior to different centuries, a queen to a king and loved for too long. She grasps dully to what once was, to all she remembered but it is all in vain. The lady vampiress, a fallen archangel, sits alone at the edge of the ocean, broken forever…First DraftCrimson eyes scan the horizon in hope and futility. She sighs as she drops her hand to her side in time with the silver chimes of a distant waterfall. Her pale skin gleams in the moonlight as she kneels ever so slowly to the warm ground. Blood red tears soak her face in helplessness as the wind playfully blows her silver white hair. She has seen the ages and as she tries to make sense of it all, her arms encircle herself. She has been a student, a knight, a queen, a lover and in all she has failed. She grasps dully to what once was, to all she remembers but it was all in vain. The lady vampiress, a fallen archangel, sits alone on a cliff at the edge of the sea, broken forever…
((This is a favorite character of mine, which I've had since 1998. You could say that we've evolved over the years together and I have grown quite fond of her.
Her original name was Lady Vamp and later Lady Ophel. I claim all rights to her.))
Oh and if your wondering why there are two drafts, it is because I didn't like the first one. ^_^
