Network Woes - Our network used to go from our cable modem, to a router, to an airport base station (wireless router made by apple). My computer connected to the airport base station and another computer, which is closer to the modem, was connected to the router via ethernet cable. Since that other computer has a wireless card, I figured I would remove the router from the network. After doing so, I wish I hadn't. It took me about 5 hours, trying to get both computers back to being able to access the internet. I probably could have done something else, but I settled for completely erasing the airport base station settings and start from scratch, with all new settings. In the end, according to the settings, it was exactly the same as before I even removed the router. I'm unsure what the difference is, but as long as everything works again, why bother tinkering around, right?
Profile Fixes - So after weeks since Gaia "updated" the profiles, my profile seems to be fixed now. The quotation marks and apostrophes are all showing up correctly.
I also fixed the Quilt thread link. The makers of the thread, relocated to a new thread, due to the previous ones length, so I had to change the link, to the new thread. Easy fix, on my part.
Bear Pajamas - Someone offered me a May 2004 letter + some gold, for one of my Chyaku Norisu Scarves. They sent me a mail, with the offer, while I was doing all that network stuff, so I didn't actually read the offer for another hour or 2 since they sent it. Turned out, they spent some of the gold, so weren't able to pay me the full amount they offered. I still accepted, since I'm questing the Bear Pajamas (an item that's in the May 2004 letter) and it, with the gold they offered, was still about the amount I was asking for the scarf.
I'm not really too sure why I was questing the Bear Pajamas, but I wanted them. Possibly due to them being from an anime called Serial Experiments Lain, which is an anime I really like.
